As Irene was about to leave in her white coupe, Sooyoung's agent hurriedly chased up to her. He quickly took out his cell phone and was ready to note down Irene's contact information. "Miss Bae, hold on."

Irene turned around to look at the agent who was staring right back at her.

"Big Hit Entertainment has already prepared an employment contract for you. When would you be free to look through it and sign it with us?"

"I do not have time for an agency like this," Irene said as she shook her head. "Looking at how Sooyoung has turned out, I have decided that I do not want to be affiliated with an agency that has such shabby artists. Thank you." After that, Irene drove off in her white coupe and left Sooyoung's agent standing there all by himself.

Although she was one of the most hated artists by the public, she still had her own dignity.

Nickhun was still unclear of the situation that had just unfolded as he entered the mountain villa. If they already had Irene in their hands, why did Sooyoung let her go so easily?

Tae Hee stood on the corridor of the second floor of the mountain villa as she listened to the conversation between Nickhun and Sooyoung. She had a complicated expression on her face.

Things were not as simple as it seemed right now, and it was not a good thing. Therefore, Tae Hee agreed that the best thing to do was to get Sooyoung to marry into the Manoban family as soon as possible.

As soon as she thought about this, Tae Hee picked up her cell phone and made a phone call. "Co-mother-in-law, why don't we meet up in the afternoon to decide on the auspicious wedding date for our children?"

After arriving at the villa, Irene pull out her phone to watch the news and to read the comments that had been posted by the netizens.

The netizens were indeed very angry with Sooyoung but Irene realized that in each of the comments, the netizens had also mentioned her name.

[I believe that this news was released by Irene because she wants to take revenge on Sooyoung. She is really vicious!]

[Irene, your whole family will suffer and die a terrible death because of you! How could you do this to a pregnant woman?]

[Irene, what rights do you have to expose Sooyoung? You are just jealous of her! Get out of the entertainment industry. Thank you.]

Although all of these comments were obviously posted by Sooyoung's fans, the number of likes on each of these comments were sufficient to represent the feelings of the general public.

Did the netizens really have such a bad impression of her?

Although she was already accustomed to having a bad reputation and negative reviews, Irene could not help but to feel frustrated. What was worse was that she did not have a way to get rid of all this negativity.

At noon, Irene suddenly received a phone call from the young paparazzo who sounded extremely excited. "Miss Irene, I have found out who the culprit is. It turns out that it was Sooyoung herself who had released the news to the media. Would you like me to release this news immediately?"

"You don't need to," Irene replied calmly. She had already given Sooyoung such a big scare when she went to the mountain villa earlier this morning. Although she had found concrete proof that it was Sooyoung who had self-directed this entire drama, Irene felt that she would not be able to change the perception of the public even if she released that information.

"Young boy, let me ask you...are all the dramas that I have acted in really that horrible?"

Besides that, she also had Lisa as her girlfriend. At the thought of this, Irene finally snorted and laughed out loud. "I have changed my mind. I want you to release the information that you have gotten now. Sooyoung had planned everything herself, so why should I be taking the blame for her?"

"That is the right move! You should just sit back and watch the show that is about to start."

After she hung up on the energetic young paparazzo, Irene sat down and meditated by herself. She should not be wasting any more time on that scumbag Nickhun and Sooyoung, but instead focusing on how to restart her career.

The matter involving the Manoban family was slowly reaching its climax and therefore, she should be focusing on repositioning her own career.

Later in the evening, Irene suddenly received a phone call from Tae Hee. "Your elder sister's wedding is scheduled for the sixth day of next month. Make sure to set aside the time to attend your sister's wedding."

The sixth day of next month. That meant that it was only less than half a month away.

Sooyoung was probably feeling anxious and had wanted to get through with the wedding as soon as possible after what had happened earlier that morning.

"I understand, mom."

"Irene, I know that I have wronged you. You can be rest assured that I will not repeat the same mistake and wrong you again."

"Thank you, mom," Irene quickly replied. However, she knew clearly that she would never be on the same wavelength as her mother in this lifetime.

As she was on the phone, she could hear Lisa's black sedan driving into the compound of the villa. She quickly hung up on the phone call with Tae Hee.

"Miss Bae, I am getting off work now," CL said. CL then waited until Lisa entered the villa and she helped her take off her coat before she finally left the villa.

"She's so early today?" Irene thought to herself as she glanced at her watch. This was strange.

Lisa was wearing a black shirt and she started to untie her bow tie as she sat down beside Irene. "Why do you have that expression on your face? Do you not want me to come back early?"

"What do you mean?" Irene quickly replied. "Is the expression on my face really that obvious?"
