The sun was particularly glaring in Seoul City that afternoon.

At this moment, Irene had just dressed up in a very low-profile manner and she got into the car with Loey before they started driving to the mountain villa.

Although both Irene and Loey had been staying in Seoul City for the past few years, they rarely had the opportunity to meet up. It was thus an extremely rare occasion for them to be able to travel together in broad daylight.

"I have really missed the sunshine," Loey said as he stared out of the car window.

"Do you really need to describe yourself as a vampire? But I was really the one who had dragged you down in the past few years," Irene could not help but sigh as soon as she replied Loey.

"Why have you become so wishy-washy after you got together with Lisa?" Loey asked as he stared at Irene disdainfully. "You would never be able to repay everything that I had sacrificed for you in this life, so you can just forget it now."

Irene could not help but smile as soon as she heard Loey's words. After a short drive, they arrived at the mountain villa.

"I have already called to check on her. She is at home now, so let's go."

Irene walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. Tae Hee quickly rushed over to open the door for her. Tae Hee had initially thought that it was a good thing that Irene decided to visit her after everything that had happened with Sooyoung and Park Sunjae, because she would then be able to have a good and heartfelt conversation with her. However, Tae Hee was stunned as soon as she saw Loey standing behind Irene.

"Ch...Chanyeol?" Tae Hee stuttered.

"Hello, aunt. I have not seen you in a long time," Loey replied as he held tightly onto Irene's arm.

"Come on in," Tae Hee said as she moved sideways to make way for the both of them to enter. Her movements were extremely awkward because of her guilty conscience.

She did not know if Chanyeol knew about what she did to the Bae family in the past.

"Mom, the reason I am here today is because there are some things that I want to ask you," Irene said before she sat down on the sofa directly opposite Tae Hee. She then lifted her head and looked directly at Tae Hee, not wanting to miss any of Tae Hee's expression as she questioned her.

"Go ahead and ask."

"Mom, in the beginning, I believed you when you told me that you left me here and you only went to the United States because you needed to find money to repay the Bae family's debt. Later, I also believed you when you told me that you had already repaid the Bae family's debt on our behalf. However, I really do not understand something. How did a small workshop that the Park family used to own suddenly become the HYBE Enterprise that it is today in just five years?" Irene said calmly as she looked at Tae Hee.

"Irene, even if I explained everything to you, would you be able to understand how the development of a company works, as a layman?" Tae Hee skilfully replied.

"You are right. I will not be able to understand it. Let me ask you another question then. You told me that you were the one who had cleared the debt that the Bae family owed. Then, I want you to tell me the amount of debt the Bae family owed in the past. You should at least be able to remember that, right?"

After listening to Irene's words, Tae Hee remained silent for a short while before she suddenly laughed. "Irene, I have entrusted a lawyer to deal with that in the past. How would I be able to remember all the details?"

She was so good at acting.

"Have you really forgotten how much the amount was, or do you not know how much it was at all?" Irene questioned her again. "I have heard that you were not the one who had repaid all the debts owed by the Bae family."
