At half past eight that night, Irene drove to the address of the hotel that Kim Taehyung had given her. When she arrived at the hotel, she found the elegant room that Kim Taehyung was in with the help of the concierge.
However, after pushing the door open and entering the room, she only saw Kim Taehyung and Kim Hanbin in the room. Neither Lisa nor Jackson Wang was there at the moment.
Irene already had some speculations in her heart but she kept up with the act and pretended to be oblivious as she asked, "Where is Lisa?"
"Come over here and take a seat, sister-in-law. We heard that Lisa and you have already registered your marriage. We would like to congratulate you personally," Kim Taehyung said as he stood up and pulled a chair out for Irene.
Irene sat down before she laughed. "I believe that both of you have something you would like to say to me personally without Lisa around, am I right?"
Kim Taehyung and Kim Hanbin exchanged glances with one another before they nodded their heads. "Sister-in-law, you really are a very intelligent person. To be honest, we do not have any bad intentions at all. You are Lisa's sweetheart and we would obviously not lay a finger on you. However, there are some things that we would like to clarify and say up front. We do not want to interfere in your relationship, but we believe that you should understand how stressful it would be for Lisa once your relationship is made public."
"As Lisa's closest friends and brothers, we only want to determine if everything that Lisa is sacrificing and doing for you is worth it."
"How would you be able to determine this fact?" Irene asked as she stared at them with a serious expression on her face.
"We do not really want to make things difficult for you because we know how much you love acting and being in the entertainment industry, but are you willing to give up on your acting career and stay at home to take care of Lisa and any children you might possibly have in the future? We will believe that you are sincere about Lisa if you could call up Ace Media right now and let them know that you want to quit the entertainment industry immediately."
Irene looked down at the cell phone that Kim Taehyung had placed before her and smiled before she pushed it back to him. "I know for a fact that Lisa's friends would never do anything to make me feel uncomfortable or to make my life difficult in any way. I also know that both of you know very well that asking me to quit my acting career would not prove anything at all. Seeing that both of you are so close to Lisa, I believe there is only one explanation for this..."
"Are you jealous because Lisa and I are married now? Is that why you would want to make fun of me?"
Kim Taehyung glanced at Kim Hanbin as though to ask, "Is sister-in-law really that smart?"
"If you ask me, who should I ask?"
"You are right. We are just mad and annoyed right now. How can the two of you just register your marriage without informing us? We tried asking Lisa to come out and join us for dinner, but he kept giving us all sorts of excuses. When I found out that Lisa was stuck in an important meeting, I decided to ask you out immediately so that we could tease you a little. Sister-in-law, you really are courageous. I am really impressed that you were not afraid at all," Kim Taehyung confessed immediately.
"Although you guys seem really sincere right now, I know that you would definitely have your doubts about me," Irene took the opportunity to continue the topic of the conversation. "So, why don't we play a game of truth right now? We will take turns asking and answering questions, and those who are unable to answer have to drink up. What do you think about this idea? I promise that I will answer whatever questions you throw at me tonight."
