A quick note to you guys: if you see pretty much any other language other than English on here, I'm using google translate, so sorry if it isn't accurate. This is another one of my brother stories, I hope you enjoy!
**3rd person POV**
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 was alive with laughter, cups clinking together and voices mixing with one another. Children ran around in the yard, their laughter filling the air. As much as the evening seemed happy, later, they would all be mourning.
Lila and Akira sat with their mother on the deck chair. The little two-year old's giggled as they played with their mother's hair. Their father held their mother's hand gently in his own as he surveyed the yard, watching as their cousins and brothers played with each other.
Victor, the eldest child in their family, supervised his cousins and brothers, a small smile plastered on his face. Turning away from the joyous scene, he walked over to his twin sisters, picking up Akira, he grinned as she clung to him tightly.
His younger brother, the second eldest in the family, Diego, noticed him holding Akira. Hurrying over, making sure to not miss all the action, he picked up Lila carefully. Lila giggled and pulled a funny face at him. Diego smiled and kissed his baby sister's cheek gently.
Their mother was sad, seeing the happy scene in front of her, she was starting to regret her decision. Her husband, sensing her sadness, but not knowing why, rubbed his thumb over her hand soothingly.

The festiveness had started to die down and their guests were leaving when a small cry could be heard through the mansion. However, no one took notice of the small cry, thinking that it was one of their sisters who wanted something but didn't receive what they wanted.
However, their assumption was far from right...
It was dusk and their mother, Elena, grabbed her already packed bag. Running into Akira and Lila's room she packed a bag of clothes and picked up the sleeping children. Akira let out a small cry but was silenced by her mother gently rocking her back and forth.
As much as their mother hated staying away from her family, she had to protect her daughters. She snuck out through the front door and hurried down the street. Once she was sure that she was far enough from the mansion, she called her friend.
Moments later, a black car pulled up beside her. Opening the door, she quickly climbed in, holding both twins on her lap.
Rubbing her eyes, Akira peered up at her mother, "Mommy? Where are we going?"
Elena hushed her daughter, "We're going somewhere safe Akira darling."
Akira gazed at her, confused, "But mommy, home is safe."
Elena looked at her daughter sadly and shook her head. Gently, she rocked her daughter back to sleep. Seeing Akira drift off to sleep, Elena leant back in her chair, already missing her husband and boys.
