"𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 okay?" I asked Lila, carefully helping her up.

She clung onto my arm, as if she was holding on for dear life, her eyes wide and big, showcasing her doe eyes.

"Lila." I shook her gently.

"Huh?" she shook her head, confused, "Sorry, what were you saying?"

I looked over her nervously, "I asked you if you were okay. Did you hit your head or something?"

Lila gave me a tentative smile, "I'm okay, just thinking. Don't worry about me."

"I'll always worry about you," I nudged her side, a smile on my face this time, "You're my twin, and even if you weren't, I'd still look out for you."

My arm snaked around her, giving her a quick squeeze, "I love you, you know that?"

"Love you too, Kira," Lila mumbled, embracing me back.

Leaving my arm wrapped around her, I scanned over our brothers, a blank look settled on my face. As said, Carson and Cameron weren't injured too bad, but Diego looked like he was struggling. Victor was on the phone with someone, frustration written in his features, Archer beside Diego, talking to him quietly.

Victor pocketed his phone, his features resuming into their calm look, "Alright, everyone, the medics should be on their way now. Are you okay Diego?"

"Do I look okay to you?" Diego asked jokingly, as I shook my head at him, wincing as a sudden jolt of pain shot through me.

Lila held my arm firmly, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," I unwrapped her fingers from where they were latched onto me, "I didn't hurt anything major, calm down."

Rolling her eyes, Lila pushed me lightly, "I'm going to check on everyone else. You'll be alright?"

"I'm always alright," I teased, pushing her towards our brothers, "Go check on them if you want. They look fine to me."

"Of course I'm checking on them. They're our brothers," Lila shook her head at me, "I just wish you'd accept that."

As she walked away, I murmured under my breath to her retreating figure, "I wish you knew how hard that could be for me to accept that. You know I don't trust easily."

Once Lila had left, Archer sidled up to me, "Are you okay?"

"I should be asking you that," I snorted, "You practically jumped out of the car onto the asphalt. It's a wonder you didn't break anything."

Archer stilled for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, it was lucky wasn't it."

Something is going on with him and the rest of those idiots. I'm determined to find out what's going on. That was no pure luck that he managed to escape safely with barely a scratch. I know I'm onto something, I guess you could call it a gut feeling.

I nudged him, a joking smile on my face, "Well, this spiced up our day certainly. It was probably the highlight of my day."

Instantly, Archer's eyes narrowed. Oops. I probably shouldn't have said that. Stupid, stupid me. Hastily, I took a step back from him, a smile plastered on my face, "So, I should probably go?"

This time, it was Archer's eyebrows that shot up, an amused and stern expression on his face, "Where would you be going?"

Pointing over my shoulder with my thumb, I squeaked, "Over there?"

Turning around, I quickly tried to run away, before gasping and biting my lip, as a sharp jolt of pain shot through me again. Archer's hand was wrapped around my arm, his nails digging in, grip firm.
