𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 tired of yelling. My throat felt scratchy, and my arms were sore from beating on the door. Checking the time, I gritted my teeth. I needed to find a way out of here...

My eyes landed on some black curtains, and I shook my head at myself. Why had I not thought of this earlier?

Shoving the curtains aside, I caught sight of Victor's laptop sitting on his desk innocently. Bingo. I had to trick him. Victor already knew that my plane was booked tomorrow, but he didn't know where, so if I booked multiple new ones he wouldn't know where I went.

My fingers flew across the keyboard. Greece. Italy. Chile. Austria. Norway. Portugal.

I then hurried over to the curtains, yanking the window open, steeling myself as I looked down. I could do this.

Before I clambered down, I cautiously peered over to where my room was, making sure that none of my brothers were looking or throwing Myles out the window.

Satisfied, I reached up and grabbed onto the edge of the roof, swinging myself up. Myles had somehow gotten on the roof and if I could find out how he did it, I could surely get down that way. I tiptoed across the roof until I found a tree with branches large enough to scale down.

Carefully, I made my way down, a squeak escaping me as my feet slid across the roof, grabbing the tree branch for support. Once I was on the tree, I scaled down quickly, running for the front gate.

I warmed my hands in front of the heater of the car that I sat in. No, I had not stolen it. I thankfully had my phone on me when I escaped, and not so thankfully remembered after I had been walking around the neighborhood for an hour.

Beside me, Tori focused her eyes on the road, bopping her head up and down to the music, her brown-black hair tossed up in a loose bun.

After a few moments of silence, her eyes slid over to me momentarily, "You want to explain why the hell I'm taking you to the airport past midnight?"

"Do you want to explain to me what the hell is going on between you and Ryo?" I retorted, before sighing. "Sorry. I haven't had enough sleep. Thanks for picking me up by the way."

"No problem," Victoria replied as the car slowed to a stop in front of a red light.

Leaning back in my chair, I fiddled with my fingers. "I'm kind of running away from my brothers temporarily. I need to visit my friends out of the country to make sure they're okay and my brothers aren't letting me."

"Maybe they aren't for a good reason," Victoria suggested evenly.

This time I side eyed her. "Okay, maybe I was being irrational, but I can't stand being around them at this moment." I paused. "I sound like a brat, don't I?"

Victoria shrugged her shoulders as she began to park the car, "You have your personal reasons, they probably have their own. It'll be fine in the end."

I gnawed my lip, before reaching over and pulling her into a tight hug. "Thanks Ri."

Unsurprisingly, I had made my way through the airport quite fast when I got off the plane, seeing as I had no baggage. I sighed, glancing at my phone, dialing a familiar number.

She picked up on the third ring. "Hello?" a deep voice answered.

I blinked in surprise. "Hello?"

A brief period of silence followed before I spoke again. "Is this Lydia?"
