**Akira's POV**
𝐈 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐃 rumbling around me. Bolting into an upright position, I took in my surroundings, breathing heavily. Noticing Diego sleeping peacefully opposite of me, I relaxed a little bit. I opened the window shutter slightly and winced, as the bright rays of light hit my face.
I decided to go to the bathroom, so I stretched and left my seat, heading over to where I hoped the bathroom was. I didn't know what time it was or where Lila was. I could only use the twin bond that we shared to note, that she wasn't hurt at the moment.
I could tell when Lila was hurt, but she could tell how I was feeling, which most of the time, wasn't really anything.
When I finally found the bathroom, I pushed the door open, stepping into the brightly lit and spacious room. Well, spacious, for a bathroom. Lights adorned the edges of the mirror and the tiles seemed to sparkle.
I leant down and placed my hands on the edge of the sink, staring at my reflection in the mirror. Wincing as I prodded some of my injuries, I decided to clean myself up properly.
*****
As I swiped the last remains of blood from my face, a knock sounded on the door, "Akira? You in there?"
I called out, "Yeah, just a sec."
Dumping the paper towel in the nearby bin, I opened the door to meet Diego's face, "Oh good, you've cleaned up," he smiled at me.
I gave him a reluctant smile, "Ahaha, yeah, I have. I'm, I'm gonna go back to my seat now."
As I started to leave, Diego grabbed my shoulder roughly, and I winced in pain. Retracting his hand, he gave me an apologetic smile, "Sorry, I forgot about that. We're going to be landing in five minutes."
I gave him a surprised look, I was in the bathroom for that long? Wrinkling my nose, I brushed past him, nodding my thanks. Hearing the bathroom door close shut behind me, I walked back to my seat, reclining back.
*****
A fancy car pulled up in front of both Diego and I. However, it wasn't as fancy as my beautiful black one. Diego pulled the passenger seat open and I climbed into the back. The man who sat at the front, gave a nod to Diego, "Glad to see you're back. Who's that?"
Diego gave him a smirk, "Oh, her? That's just my younger sister."
The man's mouth dropped open, "You're kidding. That's why you came late?"
I sent Diego a glare from my spot at the back of the car and he shut his mouth instantly. Nodding in satisfaction, I leant back into my seat. The man driving the car turned back around, facing the front and introducing himself to me, "My name is Carlos by the way. I'm Diego's friend."
"Nice to meet you Carlos," I told him politely.
Carlos had deep brown eyes and tousled brown hair to match. He had an ironed white shirt on and black pants. He seemed pretty laid back and relaxed.
Feeling my eyes starting to droop, I rubbed them viciously. Diego glanced back from his position at the front and reached his arm back, squeezing my leg lightly, "Get some rest Akira, you need it."
I went to protest, however, I felt the darkness overtake me before I could put up a proper fight against Diego.
*****
I woke whilst being carried in two arms. Still drowsy with sleep, I cuddled closer to that person, not caring who it was.
Feeling the person's chest vibrate, I could tell they were laughing. I groaned and opened my eyes, looking at Diego, "I was trying to sleep."
