𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 day, I woke, lying on the floor in my room. A deep sigh escaped my mouth, another day. Just as I stood up, a knock sounded on my door, before my door burst open.

Why bother knocking if you're only going to bully my door and burst in? Can I have a little privacy thanks?

"Get up princ- oh. You're awake," Carson said, as he burst into my room.

Yes that's right you little shit, use your eyes.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting Carson to come barging my door down, but you know, we can be surprised by people sometimes.

"Excuse me?"

Did I say that out loud?

"Yes."

Damnit.

"Five seconds to run before you are caught and tortured by me," Carson threatened.

I had sprinted out of the room before he had even said those words, turning down an endless amount of hallways. In the distance, I heard footsteps thundering after me and I gulped, increasing my pace.

Skidding as I turned the corner, I bumped into someone's chest.

"Watch it!" a harsh voice snapped at me.

"Sorry, but my life is on the line right now," I blurted, brushing past them, heading into the kitchen, where everyone else was seated, hiding behind Victor's chair.

Moments later, Carson rounded the corner, "Where is she?"

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down," Diego intervened.

Thank the heavens above. I glanced over at Victor, who had a small smile playing on his face. Hold up. A smile? Victor suddenly frowned, "What are you staring at?"

I pointed at him, "You, you smiled!"

"Is it a crime?" Victor smirked at me.

Scowling, I folded my arms across my chest, "Whatever. What's for breakfast?"

Just as I said those words, Lila and Cameron rounded the corner, carrying a stack of warm pancakes delicious smelling pancakes.

"Hey everyone," Lila chirped, "pancakes are here!"

Everyone who wasn't sitting, practically scrambled towards their chairs, anxiously awaiting their food.

I took my seat, making sure to be one of the first people to grab a pancake, otherwise these pigs would probably eat them all before I got to lay my hands on one.

As we were munching on our food, the door flew open, revealing Marco. I paused momentarily, watching as he took a seat beside Lila and I, at the very end of the table.

Nodding at me he took some pancakes, "How is everyone? No hello?"

A chorus of 'hello's' sounded across the room, some barely distinguishable between the amount of pancake being stuffed in their mouths.

Rolling his eyes, Marco snorted to himself, "Bunch of pigs, you lot."

I groaned as my alarm clock went off next to me, it's annoying ringing making me want to throw it across the room.

What day was it?

Oh great. The Monday. The dreaded Monday. Can I go back to sleep?

I quickly shut my alarm off, slapping my pillow on top of my face, about to go back to sleep, when Carson burst into the room, breaking my door down for the second time of the week.
