**Akira's POV**
𝐈 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐖 a punch at the punching bag. Letting the anger overwhelm me, I furiously hit it, only stopping when it fell to the floor. I then sat on the floor, burying my face into my hands, which were now sore.
A ringing from beside me threw me out of my thoughts. Glancing at the caller ID, I picked up, "Hey."
My twin's terrified voice from the other side of line replies, "Kiki, they're back early..."
I shoot up from my position, "Wait, what? Go to our bedroom and lock the door. I'll be there shortly."
I hung up on her and grabbed my things which were sitting on the bench. Digging my car keys out of my pocket, I ran outside, unlocking the door to my beautiful black Ferrari. I chucked my bag into the passenger seat before I climbed into the driver's seat, speeding out of the parking lot.
I screeched into the driveway, already seeing their car there, I flung open the front door and ran into the living room. Spotting my sister curled up on the floor, I hurried over to her, "I told you to go into the bedroom and lock the door!"
She shakily sat up, "I did, but Akira, they have a key."
I froze. Did she say key? My blood ran cold, and I rubbed my hand over my face, "Come on, we're getting out of this damned place."
I pushed Lila towards our room, instructing her to pack both of our bags while I dealt with our relatives. My useless excuse of an Aunt and Uncle walked into the room, their noses held high and mighty in the air.
My aunt looked down her nose at me, "Finally. You're home. We have been waiting for you. What are you wearing?"
My uncle shook his head in disappointment, "You look disgusting. Go put on a dress."
I scowled. Assholes, they think they're so much better than everybody else. I saw Lila sneaking out in the corner of my eye and I quickly looked back to my aunt and uncle. However, my aunt grabbed the back of Lila's dress, using a sickly-sweet tone, she asked her, "And where might you be going dear?"
Lila froze as she turned to confront her. I jumped in, "We were going to go over to a friend's house."
Sending a grateful look my way, Lila slipped out, undetected as our uncle and aunt turned to face me. Uncle glared at me, "You are staying here until you learn to become a proper woman. Your sister is the perfect example. Obedient, wears dresses, polite, gets perfect grades. You, you are a dirty, lowlife pig who has no manners and goes around seeking attention."
I clenched my hands into fists, trying to control my anger. I scowled at them, "I'm leaving. I hope to never see you stuck up people ever again."
I stormed out of the house and opened the door to my car, slamming it shut forcefully. Lila looked at me from the passenger seat, "Are you okay?"
I sent a rueful smile towards her, "Yeah. I'm fine. What did they say to you?"
Lila turned away from me, "That I needed to get better grades, that I was a disappointment."
My heart broke in two, looking at her saddened figure. I leant over and gave her a tight squeeze, "Hey, you're perfect the way you are. You aren't a disappointment. Come on, I've saved enough for us to rent an apartment a little way away from here."
*****
We pulled up to a small apartment block. I hopped out and instructed Lila to stay where she was. I walked inside the building and dialled the number I had saved to my phone. The owner picked up and I quickly arranged for my sister and I to have a room on the second floor.
