(Y/n)'s POV

Days passed fast and before I knew it I was already two months in that wizard's house. Of course I don't have anything to complain about. He was really nice with me. Taking care of me all the time and making sure that I had everything I needed. He made sure that I felt like home.

However, the only thing that was strange enough to make me suspicious of him was the time he was leaving the house. Every time he left it would take him hours to come back and every time I asked him where he was, he would just tell me for a walk. I wasn't so stupid to believe him, yet I couldn't do much since I was still resting due to my leg. It's been almost two weeks since I took off the gypsum, but I still needed to not tire myself. So I just sat there. Waiting for him to come and cook or just talk with me. Sometimes I really missed his company. It was so enjoyable after all.

-"I am going out." I heard his voice tell me as he put on his jacket.

-"Be careful." I told him as I watched him leave.

Once I heard the front door close I stood up and put my shoes on along with one of Kabuto's jackets. I exited the house quietly as I made sure that no sound could be heard. Then I started following him, leaving a big distance between us. I was extra careful with each step I made, since the snow around me could either betray my position or make me injure myself again. My hands were in the pockets of the jacket in an attempt to keep them warm as my eyes were fixed on Kabuto's figure ahead of me.

We were walking for quite a long time, which made my leg to start hurting. I got tired faster since I wasn't fully healed yet. However, I wasn't going to stop now. I had to find his secret. Then, suddenly, he disappeared. One moment he was right there and the next one it was like earth had swallowed him. Without thinking I run where he had disappeared looking around for clues, when I felt something. I stretched my hand noticing an electric field, a magical barrier. I had two choices with this. It could kill me or it could lead me where Kabuto had gone.

-"Here goes nothing." I told myself as I walked forward.

I successfully passed through the barrier making me sigh with relief. However, now I stood somewhere completely different from before. I was at the entrance of a village. I started walking in it as I kept looking around for Kabuto or any other human being, but I couldn't find neither. And the strangest thing was that this village looked awfully familiar, which was giving me a bad feeling. A feeling that I felt once in my entire life.

Suddenly a loud scream was heard making me widen my eyes with fear as I started running to that direction. That could be Kabuto. He could be in danger. We were in a human village so it was very possible that they had captured him. They could be torturing him. So, without caring about my leg, I continued running. I continued hoping that he was ok, that my savior was still alive.

Soon I reached the place were the scream was heard of. I immediately stopped, looking at the place in front of me both shocked and scared. I couldn't believe my eyes. There at the middle of, what seemed to be the square of the village stood Kabuto. An axe in his right bloody hand as he cut open the now dead human who seconds ago was screaming for help.

-"Please help us!!!"

A man's voice screamed at me making me look at my left. There, in cages, were more humans. Their clothes barely keeping them warm from the cold weather as they looked like they had to eat in days. They were staring at me scared. They wanted to escape before they ended up like the other man.

-"(Y/n)?"

I heard Kabuto's voice, which made me look at him. He was already looking at me with a calm look in his eyes as his hand hadn't left the axe.
