Sasuke's POV

The sky was black. Black like the darkness that exists in this world. Black like the monsters that come from the underworld. Black like my soul. The moon was impossible to be found today. The clouds had took over the sky hiding everything behind them. They were hiding the beauty of the night along with the power of the monsters. They were hiding all the good things and all the bad ones. The perfect night for a perfect attack.

-"Sasuke." a voice said snapping me out of my thoughts.
-"We should get going."

I nodded my head and stood up from the roof I was sitting on. I got down and stood beside three people that waited patiently for my arrival. We looked at each other and with a signal from our leader we started running. Words were unnecessary between us. We already knew the plan. So the only thing we had to do was to put it in action and finish it successfully like every other time.

Soon we reached our destination. Hiding in the shadows we were watching carefully the people that had gathered in front of a small stand. They were quiet. No one was talking. They were one with the undertone around them. They were perfectly giving their attention to the man that had just got on top of the small stand. That guy was holding a basket, which was covered with a blanket hiding something great in it.

-"Sorry for keeping you waiting gentlemen." the man said gaining everyone's attention.
-"But I promise you that all this waiting isn't going to be a waste!"

The man put the basket on the ground and took off the blanket that was covering it. His smile grew once he saw everyone's surprised expression, but I narrowed my eyes on it once I saw its content. I activated my Sharigan immediately making me ready to strike and kill everyone in that place for the sin they had just done.

-"As you can see gentlemen this is a dragon egg!" the man's voice said as he pointed at the black egg inside the basket.
-"I worked hard to get it, so I hope you can pay me more than enough so you can buy it."

Then everyone started arguing about who was going to buy it. Giving millions of money for this egg is just a small problem for those guys, because the fame and the power that is going to give them later is going to be much more for what they have ever asked for.

Soon my patient run thin and without a second thought I took out my sword and attacked everyone. I moved fast, faster than the wind. My sword moving skilfully in my hands as I was slicing everyone in my way. My only aim being the egg. My only thought being how I could save this creature from these people's hands. Team 7 was there helping me too. Everyone doing their best to protect this egg from falling in wrong hands.

My eyes fell on the man that had brought the egg. He had took it in his hands and was ready to run away. I wanted to stop him, but someone was faster than me. A new figure appeared out of nowhere, who kicked the man on the stomach and took the egg in his hands keeping it safe. The cape that was covering his body along with the hood was making it impossible for me to see who that person was. Yet, I wasn't going to let that guy get away so easily. I went at him ready to attack him, but someone else got in the way stopping me. In seconds I had killed that man and started searching for the guy that took the egg. Soon I found him running away quietly, but fast, with his aim being to get lost in the downs streets.

-"Wait! That's mine!!" I shouted as I started running after him.

I have to admit that he was fast, almost at my level, however I wasn't going to let him go away that easily. I activated my powers and soon I started throwing fire balls and fire arrows at him. He successfully avoided everything, but didn't make any moves to attack me back. I growled annoyed at this, thinking that he was looking down on me.

-"Get here, you bastard!!" I shout annoyed by the way he was treating me.

I didn't take any answer. He just kept running with me following him close. Soon we reached the forest. We started running between the trees and the bushes. My anger growing more and more with every passing minute, since I couldn't land an attack on him or reach him. Suddenly he turned around and threw a knife at me. I avoided easily, but it hit someone else that was behind me. I immediately stopped and looked at the man that was laying dead on the ground. He was an enemy, but that's the least I cared about. The thing was that I hadn't sensed him at all until now and that's something impossible for an Uchiha at my level of power.

-"Don't be so careless. Next time someone might get you."

A woman's voice said making me search for her. My eyes fell on the figure that was holding the egg. He was standing a few meters away from me. The hood was off her head making me understand that the guy I was thinking that I was following all this time was indeed a woman.

-"Who are you!?" I asked her as I glared at her with my Sharigan.

-"Are you blind? I am a protector." she said pointing at her head.

That's when I saw that on top of her head, among with her (h/c) hair, there was a pair of purple fox ears. My eyes widen when I saw that. This was the first time I was meeting a female demon protector. All the protectors I have ever met were all men, but this one is different.

-"Stop staring. I am not so unique." the girl said annoyed by my behavior.

-"Sorry. I just wasn't expecting you to be a girl. From what you did to take the egg and from the way you killed this man you are too strong and clever for a girl."

-"That's offending." the girl said annoyed.
-"Girls can be strong too you know. We can't always expect a man or someone like you to save us."

-"What's that suppose to mean?" I asked her annoyed.

-"That you are stupid and careless. You were so fired up about catching me that you forgot about everything else. The guy that I killed might have killed you, you know." she said serious.

-"I agree." Kakashi sense said as he appeared beside me.
-"You acted very carelessly Sasuke. I don't want you to repeat that."

I just glared at the girl in front of me not liking at all the fact that Kakashi was scolding me because of her. I am perfect at everything so this little imperfection was bothering me a lot.

-"You are strong. Don't let small things to disturb you." the girl said as she took a few steps near us.

I just looked at her confused. One moment she was annoyed by my behavior and the next one she was praising my strength. I can't understand her at all.

-"I am (Y/n) (L/n) and I am a demon protector. This egg is supposed to be delivered to Konoha for better protection. I am going to come with you so I can be sure that everything is going to be ok." she said as she was looking at both of us with her (e/c) eyes.

-"Tsunade informed me about it, so of course you can come with us. After all a protector at your level is going to do a better job that us." Kakashi said smiling softly at her.

-"I could protect it too." I growled at him.

-"No, you couldn't. You get disturbed easily the last days Sasuke. Work this out and maybe next time I will trust you with it." Kakashi answered and turned around to see Naruto and Sakura that had just arrived.

My eyes fell on (Y/n) glaring at her. She just gave me a small smile as she took off her cape and covered the egg with it keeping it warm. My eyes fell on her body and especially on the purple tail that she had. I could tell that it suit her a lot, but I wasn't going to say this out loud. Not before I fight with her and win her. Not until I prove to her that I am strong enough to survive in every difficult situation.

-"Let's go. I need to find warmer places for the egg." (Y/n) said gaining everyone's attention.

-"We can talk on the way." Kakashi said and started walking in the forest with everyone else following him.

I hadn't moved yet. My eyes were still stuck on the girl looking at her with hate. I have to make her pay for how stupid she made me seem.

-"Don't stay behind Sasuke. Someone might get you." (Y/n) said smirking not bothering to look at me.

I hate her so much!
