Rock Lee x Hurt reader / Part 1

I think Lee is a little out of character here. Still I hope you will enjoy it.

Lee's POV

I was in a mission. It was supposed to be an easy one. Or that's what I thought.

The mission was simple. I, Ten Ten, Neji and (Y/n) had to deliver a scroll at Suna. We were running most of time so we could be there in less than two days. We took only necessary breaks. More breaks would have been a waste of time.

-"It's lunch time. Let's take our break!" (Y/n) said and everyone nodded stopping at a small clearing inside the forest.

-"Man! That's exhausting!" Ten Ten complained sitting down.

-"It's the only way if you want to go home sooner." (Y/n) said sitting down too.

-"Stop complaining and let's eat." Neji said a little annoyed.

-"Wanting to run again? That's the spirit my friend!!" I said excited to Neji.

Ten Ten sighed and summon some food, which (Y/n) cooked. We didn't have the chance to have full meals so we have simple things. Today we had some fish. Easy to cook and fast to be prepared. But the best part of it was that she was cooking it, (Y/n).

She is so youthful!

She is full of energy. Ready to face every difficulty. Ready to fight and protect those in need. She is always happy. Facing everything with a smile is what she does better than everyone else. She is the best fighter I have ever met. She can manipulate her water style perfectly.

She is just awesome.

But she can't be mine. I mean, who would love me? I still remember the fail attempts I had with Sakura. I am sure it's the same with her too. After all, she will probably have already someone to love and care for. She is too pretty to stay alone and in the shadows. So even if she doesn't love somebody, someone else will definitely love her.

-"Lee?"

I heard someone and got out of my thoughts.

-"Are you alright?" (Y/n) asked me standing in front of me.

I blushed madly at this and went some steps back away from her.

-"Perfectly fine!" I said looking away from her.

-"Then sit and eat. You need more power for the mission." she said smiling softly giving me some of the fish she cooked.

I gladly took it and sat down to eat it. Then (Y/n) came and sat two feet away from me with her plate to eat too. I blushed at how close we were as I had my eyes on her getting lost in her beauty. Suddenly she turned to look at me and smiled since she caught me watching her. I immediately blushed mad at this and turned in front of me eating my food as fast as I could. I heard her giggle which made me blush more. She sure has a big effect on me.

-"Since everyone ate we can continue running in 15 minutes." Neji said serious as always.

Everyone nodded and remained sat to rest as much as they could since their next break is at night to eat and sleep. As I was resting I was looking at (Y/n) that was talking with Ten Ten about girl staff. I didn't understand what they were saying, but the smile that she had was enough to make me understand that she was enjoying their conversation.

I just wish I could be the reason of her smile for once.

-"Let's go!" Neji said and I immediately stood up.

We continued running for at least one more hour when we starting seeing the desert knowing we were getting in the territory of the Suna. However before we could reach that part a smoke bomb explode in front of us making us impossible to see.

-"Everyone down!" Neji shout and we immediately went at the ground.

Ten Ten used a fan, that she summoned, and cleared the smoke. Now everyone could see that we had been surrounded by at least 20 men in black clothes covering all their body and face expect their eyes.

-"Give us the scroll you have and we won't hurt you!" one of them said standing on the ground a few feet away from us.

-"Over out dead bodies!" (Y/n) shout at him.

I didn't need to turn around to understand that she had that fire in her eyes that made her look unstoppable. I loved that look at her that's why I had a small smirk when she said that.

-"Kill them!" the man from before said and immediately the others came running at us with their swords.

The four of us run at them attacking them too and defeating as much of them as we could. They were strong and had a bigger stamina than us. But still this wasn't a reason to quit. We need to win and continue our mission. It's our priority.

Then I heard a scream and my eyes widen at this. I looked behind me finding (Y/n) having a sword though her right shoulder. Without a second thought I run at her to help her fight.

-"Thanks." I heard her saying as she took the sword out of her shoulder.

-"You need to heal this." I said as I continued fighting.

-"I don't have time." she said and used a water jutsu.

A big water dragon appeared attacking the enemies and defeating more of them. But suddenly the dragon explode putting the other bad guys in water bubbles drowning them.

-"That was awesome (Y/n)!" I said amazed by her jutsu.

I got lost in my thoughts thinking that she is a very strong and awesome person. So I didn't heard Neji shouting my name and telling me to be careful. And the next thing I saw was (Y/n) pushing me out the way as a sword came through her stomach. I fell back as my eyes widen looking at the blood coming out of her body.

-"Idiot. Be careful." she mumbled with a small smile before the enemy pushed her away like she was nothing.

That made me beyond mad and before I knew it I was attacking that man with all my power making blood come out of his mouth and the parts I hit him. He hurt her. He made her smile sad. He deserves to die for that.

-"Lee enough! He is already dead." Neji said making me stop.

-"(Y/n) isn't good. We need to hurry to Suna for help." Ten Ten said worried.

That's when I looked at her. She had closed her eyes, like she was sleeping, and that smile had faded from her face. I didn't like that. I didn't like watching her like this. I didn't like how hurt she got because of me!

-"I will carry her! Let's rush at Suna!!" I shout as I took her carefully in my arms.

After that I started running as fast as I could. I didn't care if the others stayed behind be. They could catch up with me later. What matters now is me reaching a hospital soon so (Y/n) can have the treatment she needs before it's late.

-"Hold on (Y/n)! I will help you!"
