Vampire Shino x Mermaid reader / Part 2

(Y/n)'s POV

-"Are you sure you drunk enough blood?" I asked Shino as he finished drinking a bottle of blood.

-"Yes." he said as he wiped his mouth.
-"But where did you find all this blood?" he asked me looking at the many bottles with blood that was on the table.

-"You don't need to know." I said smiling as I stood up and walked to take bandages.

Shino was almost a week with me. I was taking a good care of him and he didn't complain at all. He just listened to me like a kid listens to his mother. Interesting.

Right now I had my human form. If a mermaid stays out the water for too much the water dries and the tail transform to two legs. Very useful for when we want to hide.

I went near Shino and slowly unwrapped his bandages. I was expecting to see the wound that he had due his incident, but to my surprise he had nothing. It was like the wound was never there. It disappeared.

-"It healed." Shino said like it was the most normal thing in the world.

-"How?" I asked him confused.

-"Vampires recover fast if they drink blood. The injury was big so it took some time to heal, but now it's fine." he said as he stood up and stretched a little.

When he did that the thin shirt he was wearing lift up making a perfect six pack of abs to appear. That made me blush and look away immediately. Don't stare (Y/n). It's rude if you do.

-"Are you ok?" he suddenly asked me.

-"Perfectly fine!" I said immediately as I stood up too.

I walked at the small kitchen the cave has and put the bandages I had taken back to their place. Not looking at him will help me calm down a bit. I hope.

-"You know I never asked you. Is there another exit except the one from the water?" he asked me as he sat on a chair.

-"Yeah. Why are you asking?"

-"Well since I am good now I want to return to my home."

When he said that my eyes widen shocked. That's right. I had forgotten that he can't sit here forever. He isn't an object to keep nor a slave so I can't keep him by force.

But why did it effect me that much?

He and I had been only a week together. A week that we talked all day, slept side to side, ate together and dreamed together. It seems that I got used to him maybe that's why I don't want him to go away.

-"We can start today if you want to go home." I said smiling at him.

-"We? Will you come too?" he asked me a little surprised.

-"Yeah. If you want of course."

-"I would love it." he said as he stood up and walked to his things.

Alright. Let's get ready.

-"Shino. How is your home?" I asked him curious.

-"You mean my village?" he asked me and I nodded.
-"Well it's a human village so my family tries to hide our secret well. Regardless that everything else is like every other village."

-"Your family is the only vampire one there?"

-"Yes."

-"I see. You see mermaids that live in the water has towns, that everyone there is a mermaid or half mermaid. No other creatures." I said thinking my home.

-"It's natural, since others can't breathe under water."

-"They can." I said and he looked at me with interest.
-"There is a plant that if you eat it, it will let you breathe under the water for some days."

-"Interesting."

I nodded smiling and then I looked at the trees around us. One more day and we will reach his village. That thought makes me a little sad. It's true that I got used to him, but I think it's something more than this.

Maybe I like him.

I mean, how I couldn't? He is the first one that saw me and didn't run away. Maybe it's because he is a monster too, but I have watched many vampires and werewolves running away from me. Maybe it's because when mermaids get angry they become fatal, but that doesn't happen often with me.

Other that that he understands me like no one else has. I can talk with him about something all day and never get bored. It's awesome. He is awesome.

-"(Y/n) after I reach my village what will you do?" suddenly Shino asked me.

-"I think I will go back to my own home." I said as I forced myself to smile.

-"Do you want a new house?" he asked me looking away.

That's strange. He always looks at me when he talks.

-"Do you know another nice cave?" I asked him confused.

He mumble something after this, but I didn't hear it.

-"I didn't hear you."

-"Come live with me." he said more louder now.

That made me widen my eyes shocked and stop walking. I stayed there staring at him for quite some time. He just told me to live with him... Like couples do.

-"Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" I asked him confused.

-"Yes." he said looking away.

That's when I saw his cheeks becoming red from blushing. So that's why he isn't looking at me.

-"Why? How can you like me?" I asked him frowning.

-"I think you already know, since my feelings match yours." he said and came closer.
-"And so you know, I read your mind."

-"What!?" I asked him more shocked.

-"I can control insects and one of them can help me read others mind when they bite them. So that's what happened." he said and showed me the small insect that was in a small box.

-"Why did you do that?" I asked him blushing.

-"Because I wanted too know if your feelings match mine." he mumbled.

-"And now that you know what else will you do?" I asked him with a playful tone.

-"Many things." he said smirking as he came closer to me.

That made me more embarrassed than before as dirty thoughts run in my mind.

-"Keep your thoughts down." he said with a giggle as he turned around and continued walking.

-"Did you see my thoughts!?" I asked him scared.

-"No. But I know what you thought." he said smirking.

-"Asshole." I mumbled.

-"Still I am your asshole, aren't I?" he asked me as he took hold of my hand.

-"Yes." I said smiling softly getting closer to him.

Maybe I will need a new house. Just for the two of us.
