(Y/n)'s POV

Darkness.

The only thing i could see. The only feeling I could sense. The only thing existing around me.

If I was in another situation, I would have been enjoying this darkness. I would have become one with it. I would have explored it. However, this isn't the moment nor the place for something like that. I am in a situation where I can't get out, a place, a room, that I can't escape. If I hadn't had those chains around me, if I hadn't had this piece of cloth on my eyes, if hadn't had those wounds on my body, I would have escaped long ago. I would have been free.

Things were going smoothly. They were under control. I knew what I was doing and when I was doing it. Everything was planned. Everything was fine. Everything... until I fell in love and decided to ruin everything!

I was reckless. A big idiot. I had a mission. A very important mission. Yet, I wasn't able to hold back. I wasn't able to keep my eyes and hands off him. I wasn't able to resist his words.

I am strong, but he was stronger.

Suddenly the sound of a door opening was heard in the room catching my attention. I lifted my head, but I couldn't see anything because of the cloth that was covering my eyes. However, I could feel someone entering the room. I could feel someone staring at me. Searching for something on me, but not being able to find it. Nonetheless, I knew very well who he was. I would recognize him even if I was blind. He means so much to me, after all.

-"Are you not going to speak?" I asked him with a soft smile.

Silence was the only answer I received from him.

-"At least can you take this cloth off my eyes? I want to see you." I said again in a pleading tone.

I heard footsteps approaching me. They stopped in front of me. Their owner stood there for a little staring at me, admiring me. After that his cold, yet soft, hand pulled off the cloth from my eyes. The light made me close my eyes from a little, but I opened them quickly, wanting to stare at him for one last time. So now I was able to look at him. I was able to stare in his brown eyes. I was able to admire his soft red hair, that I have come to love touching.

-"You are still handsome... Sasori." I said smiling softly.

-"I can't say the same for you anymore." his cold voice said as he stared at me.

-"You are mad I guess. Well... I can't blame you for that. I kept a lot of secrets from you, after all." I said as I sighed.

-"Why did you do that? Why did you betray us?"

His voice was breaking. He wanted to say much more, to ask me everything. He wanted answers that could make us go back to as we were. But he knew very well that this was impossible.

-"I told you Sasori. I had a mission. I am a spy and the best way to spy the Akatsuki is by being part of it." I answered as I stared in his brown eyes with my (e/c) ones.
-"I was giving information about all of you to my village. I was giving them ways to kill you. I am a very good actor so I had no problem at getting close to everyone, winning their trust and using them. It took me some time, but at the end I was able to achieve what I wanted to."

His eyes had darken. He was angry, hurt, broken. He wanted to slap me, hit me, break me. He wanted to make me feel exactly as he was feeling. He wanted so much, yet he didn't know where to start from. He didn't know what to do.

-"But I was careless. "I said when I didn't received an answer from him.
-"I had a mission. I was suppose to be focus on that. Yet, I was careless and let myself fall in love. I fell for the person that understood me the most. A guy that I can stare at all day long. Someone that won my heart without-"

-"Stop!" Sasori shout interrupting me.
-"Those lies... Stop them!"

I stared at him shocked. He has never shout at me. He never had a reason to do it. Yet, now he is showing me a side that I wished he never did.

-"You say that you love me, but it's a lie! It's an awful lie that I believed! You used me, like you did with everyone else, but I was your greater pawn, your best doll. You could use me with just a kiss. I was so stupid!" he said as his eyes had a hurt look.
-"I am the careless one here for trusting you."

-"You are wrong!" I said immediately.

I tried to reach him and hug him, but I couldn't. The chains were pressing my body against the cold wall and floor. They were holding me away from him.

-"I lied for many things, but my love for you wasn't one of them! It's real! So real, that I am ready to take another sword for you, as I did in one of our missions. I still have a mark on my body. It's a memory of what happened. A proof that I am ready to give my life for you!"

His eyes went on my stomach. My shirt was covering my body. However, I am sure that he could imagine the wound that I just spoke of being there. A wound of love. A proof that love is stronger than life.

-"You have every right to hate me. Do it as much as you want. But don't say again that I don't love you. The love I feel for you is the most real thing I have ever felt in my entire life!"

My vision was blurry. Tears were running on my cheeks. I was hurt. I was broken. I was just like him. I regret the fact that I never said the truth to him, that I betrayed him. Yet, I can't change what I did now. I can only apologize waiting for forgiveness. I want his forgiveness. No one's else. Only his.

He is what really matters to me.

My only love.

-"Don't cry (Y/n)."
