(Y/n)'s POV

-"Good morning Kabuto, I see you fell asleep in my bed, again." I said as I looked at the man beside me.

I had been awake for quite some time now, but instead of getting up, I patiently waited for Kabuto to wake up too. As his eyes fluttered open, I crawled on top of his chest and greeted him with a warm smile.

-"Did you sleep well? You were snoring louder than a train."

-"You're not exactly a silent sleeper yourself. I thought a storm started last night because of how loud you were snoring. Not to mention, you talk in your sleep." he said as tried to find his glasses.

-"I don't."

The thought of talking in my sleep worried me a lot. If what I said in my sleep had anything to do with the odd dreams I had been having, I might just die right now.

-"Besides, this is my bed. So, I should be able to snore and talk in my sleep as much as I want. But I don't do it, so it really doesn't matter." I told him changing the subject.

-"Oh really? Then why is your face so red?" he said as he reached up and touched my pink cheek.
-"At least I think it's red. I can't find my glasses, so really I don't know."

-"You lost your glasses again? You do that a lot you know." I said trying to hide the fact that he had caught me blushing.

-"I didn't lose them, I just can't find them and that's probably only because I have you sitting on me."

Finally awake enough to realize that I was on top of him, Kabuto squirmed uncomfortably and tried to find his glasses faster. With his face growing more and more red with each passing second, it didn't take him long to give up again.

-"You know, this really would be a lot easier, if you let me get up."

-"Now why would I do that, especially if I already know where your glasses are." I said with a grin as I slowly lifted his glasses from behind my back and held them over his head.

-"Why would you do that? It's really not even amusing. Now give those back, I need them to see." he asked nicely, but I just shook my head, refusing to do as he'd asked.
-"Fine, I guess we'll just do this the hard way then."

Then Kabuto grabbed my sides and easily tossed me onto the bed next to him. After only a moment Kabuto managed to sit on me while holding my arms down to the bed. Unable to move, I couldn’t keep him from taking his glasses back.

-" I don't know why you try. There's really no way you can beat me."

-"Oh please Kabuto, don't flatter yourself. All I would have had to do is hug you and you would have been completely paralyzed until I decided to let go."

Having cleaned his glasses to a shine, Kabuto placed them on his nose and got off me trying to hide the fact that he got embarrassed.

-"I'd have to disagree with you. Your hugs don't fluster me near as much as they used to, not since I've been listening to your sleep talk."

The way he was looking at me made me know that he wasn't kidding. I started wording about what I could have said in my sleep. So I sat up and looked at him both embarrassed and serious.

-"What do I say in my sleep?“

-"I have your attention now, haven't I?" Kabuto said smirking.
-"I suppose I could tell you or I could keep this secret for blackmailing you later."

-"You wouldn't dare. And who would you even use to blackmail me? I don't see anyone but you and Orochimaru." I said glaring at him.
-"Now tell me, before I do something horrible to your glasses.”

-"Fine, but you're going to wish I'd just kept this to myself." Kabuto said grinning as pulled a small tape recorder from my night stand.
-"I know what you're going to say, no, I don't record you, not normally. Last night was the only time I did.... Are you sure you want to hear this?"

Biting my lips stressful I nodded as my eyes were on the tape. After that Kabuto pressed the play button. That moment my nightmare began. It was exactly what I was hoping it wasn't. I was having full conversations with Kabuto in my sleep. I called Kabuto some pretty sweet yet embarrassing names, but the fact that I was pregnant in my dream and having a difficult time choosing a name made things worse. So unable to handle anymore after only five minutes, I stopped the tape.

I looked over to Kabuto only to my surprise to see that his face was just as red as mine. That didn't mean he was too embarrassed to continue teasing you though.

-"It's not so bad. I personally like that last name you chose. (child's/name) has a nice, strong ring to it."

-"Stop that, it's not funny. We aren't having a kid and you know it. Mister I can't even hug you without my nose bleeding. You're just trying to make things even more awkward than they already are." I said as my face was entirely red out of embarrassment that I shoved him so hard he nearly fell off of my bed.

-" Yes, well that was kind of the point. But, if you insist that I stop, I suppose I should comply." he said as he smirked a little.
-"I am wondering though, how long have you been dreaming about this sort of thing?"

-"I don't know, maybe a month or so. Not much longer than that though. But it's only a dream, it doesn't mean anything in real life." I said trying to hide my embarrassment.

-"You could have said something you know. You've been acting strangely for about that long as well. I thought maybe you were just getting home sick." Kabuto said as he rubbed the back of his head and looked away from you.
-"I'm going to be honest, I'm really not sure how I should be reacting to this sort of thing. Like you said, I can't hug you without getting a nosebleed, so obviously I haven’t thought much farther ahead than that."

The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife and neither of us knew how to make things any better. Unable to stand it any longer, I fell into Kabuto's chest and snuggled him tightly.

-"You thought a lot about it. Besides, I was only teasing you about the nose bleeds. You are actually handling my hugs quite well these days. Not to mention, I think you should sleep in my bed more than you do in your own. So, if you are up to it, maybe I will move onto the next step, kisses and snuggling."

Kabuto's face was once again a deep shade of red. Despite that, he happily snuggled me in his arms and gave me a quick peck on the cheek before lightly teasing me.

-"If you really think I'm ready for that, then I guess I won't stop you."

It took me a couple of seconds to understand that Kabuto was kissing me. I was really surprised since he done it without a hint of nervousness or embarrassment.

-"Well it looks like that step went rather smoothly, didn't it? I expected that to take a lot longer, like months or even years. This is a rather pleasant surprise." I told him as I continued looking at him surprised.

-"I'm glad you think so." he said as he nuzzled his nose in my neck and held me a little bit tighter.
-"So, now that the second step out of the way, what do you suggest we do next?"

His sudden question embarrassed me terribly. Somehow all of Kabuto's nervousness had left him, and decided instead, to cling to me.

-"Maybe we should stay at this step for a few months, you know, just until we are sure you have gotten it down. I wouldn't want you to have a panic attack or something like that."

-"I honestly doubt I would have a panic attack. But, we'll do whatever you say, this is your plan after all. And as long as you don't plan on leaving me anytime soon, we can stay at this step forever.” Kabuto said as he had seen right through my excuse,

I just nodded and he quietly laughed against my neck. This made me relax and hug him tighter. I was enjoying this a lot so of course I wasn't planing on leaving him any time soon. I love him after all.
