You look cute when you smile!

(Y/n)'s POV

Neji and I have been walking non-stop for hours and I was starting to get really tired. I am a ninja like him, but my stamina isn't at the same level with him, so I get tired more easily.

-"Neji-kun, can we rest for a bit please?" I begged him in a cute voice.

He ignored my whining and kept walking. I pouted at that and looked down at my aching feet. They were starting to get numb as the pain increased more and more with each step. If I didn't sit for a little I think my legs will die.

Ok. That's it.

I picked up my pace a little and went near Neji. When I reached him I pulled his hair, causing him to fall on his knees.

-"(Y/n)! What are you doing?!" he screamed and tried to pull his hair from my grasp.

-"You wouldn't stop, so I had to make you." I whined and sat on the ground pulling him down with me.

He laid on the ground on his back making me giggle a little. Seems like I wasn't the only one who needed a break, after all.

-"Okay. We'll take a short break." he said with a dull look as I cheered.

Neji smiled a little and sat beside me. I looked to my side and smiled at him too, making him blush and look away from me. I laughed at his reaction thinking that he is so cute sometimes, like his relative Hinata.

After that I hugged my knees to my chest and started humming a song my mother used to sing to me. Neji stared at me in awe, like he was seeing something unique.

-"You have a very beautiful voice (Y/n)." he whispered.

-"I do?" I asked him as I blushed.

Neji's eyes widened when he realized what he had just said and started blushing like Hinata. I chuckled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek making him look away from me with a frown.

Maybe kissing him wasn't a good idea. After that I heard Neji mumbling something, but I didn't understand what he said.

-"What was that Neji-kun?" I asked so he could repeat it.

He cleared his throat and looked deep into my eyes as his cheeks were still a little red.

-"I said, you missed."

When he said that I gave him a confused look. After that he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me on the lips. My eyes widened, but I returned the kiss anyway. The kiss was sweet, like I was always thought it will be if I ever kissed him. After all I have a crush on him. Who wouldn't love him? He is perfect.

After a little I pulled away for air and we both stared into each other's eyes.

-"Um, Neji-ku-"

-"Just Neji will do." he said stopping me, by putting his index finger on my lips, and smiled at me.

I squealed and hugged him, making us both fell on the ground.

-"You look so cute when you smile Neji."
