Rock Lee x Hurt reader / Part 2

(Y/n)'s POV

I stared opening my eyes slowly, but shut them close when I felt the sun on my face. I turned my head to the other side and tried opening them again. This time I did it successfully.

I looked around the room not remembering where I am or how I ended up here. It looked like a hospital room, but I wasn't so sure. I sighed and tried to sit up, but a horrible pain in my stomach stopped me making me fall back. I lift the sheet that was covering my body seeing that my belly was bandaged.

Did I get hurt? When?

Thats when I remembered everything. I got hurt trying to protect Lee. I still remember how painful it was as the sword passed through my stomach. The intense pain I felt was too much, but I couldn't show it. So I just smiled. I gave Lee a smile and then fainted from the pain.

I wonder where they are. I don't think they let me in the hospital and left so I think they went to take something to eat and be back. And I believe I am at Suna's hospital, since Suna was closer than Konoha. And since I am alive that means Lee brought me here immediately after I fainted.

I blushed a little thinking that he carried me here. That idiot. Acting so recklessly. He must have been tired from the fight, but still run all the way here to save me. Maybe that's why I love him, because he is so stubborn he will do anything even if it costs him everything.

Then the door opened with force revealing my teammates. I smiled at them as they looked at me shocked.

-"Hey gu-"

They didn't let me finish, since they run at me hugging me tightly. Of course Neji didn't come. He is such a Tsudere he won't even tell me that he was worrying for me.

I flinched a little since someone pressed me on the belly. Lee immediately felt that and let me go pushing Ten Ten back too.

-"Are you hurt? Do you need me to call the doctor?" he asked me worried.

-"I am fine. I just think it will take some time before I am able to go on missions again." I said with an awkward smile.

-"And the typical (Y/n) is back." Ten Ten mumbled as she sighed.

-"Don't worry about anything! I am going to take care of you until you are fully recovered!" Lee shout full of energy, like always.

-"How long was I asleep?" I asked them.

-"Two days." Neji said simply.

Now I understand why my body feels sore.

Then my eyes fell on Lee. He was looking away from me having his hands on fists. He seemed angry or like having an inner fight with himself. I wonder what happened.

-"Are you ok Lee?" I asked him worried.

-"We will go out!" Ten Ten said immediately running out the room as she dragged Neji with her.

And now was just me and Lee. We were alone, but still no one talked.

-"What hap-"

-"Why?" Lee asked me interrupting me.
-"Why did you pushed me away? Why did you take the hit? Why?"

As he asked me that his voice was higher, more angry. Like he was hurt and angry at the same time.

-"I wanted to protect you." I mumble.

-"Why? Look at you! You are here because of me. Because I was useless. I don't deserve to be a ninja if I can't protect my teammates. I don't deserve to be your friend." he said as tears were running on his cheeks.

Now I understand everything. He is feeling guilty. He is feeling that because I am hurt. He thinks all that... He thinks wrong! He is wrong!

-"You are wrong!" I shout at him.

He looked at me surprised as I said that. With all my power I stood up sitting on the bed with my back touching the wall behind me. That hurt a lot, but it's not time to complain for something like this.

-"I did this because I wanted to protect you! I couldn't see you hurt! What I hate the most is seeing the people I love getting hurt! So I prefer sacrificing myself!" I said as I looked in his eyes serious.
-"Once someone told me that love is a crazy feeling! And now I understand why! Because I would do everything to protect the one I love!"

When I finished he was looking at me blushing mad. I wondered why and then I recalled my worlds. Dammit! I just confessed to him. And I did it like it was nothing. Idiot (Y/n)!!

-"You... You did that because you love me?" Lee asked me still blushing.

-"Yes. I didn't want you to get hurt." I mumble blushing mad as I looked away.

-"Then you understand why I felt like this." he mumble.

I turned to look at him confused, but when I did so he crushed his lips on mine. That made me blush mad, but I tried returning the kiss as much as I could. It wasn't perfect, but still it was enough to make me feel everything he felt.

After a little we broke the kiss, but stayed close to each other. So I took this chance and hit him on the head. He immediately fell on his knees holding his head in pain as I looked at him pouting.

-"Why did you not tell me sooner that you love me?" I asked him pouting.

-"Because I was scared you will reject me." he mumble looking away.

-"But I didn't." I said as I smiled softly at him.

-"I know." he mumbled as he stood up and took hold of my hand.
-"I am really happy now!"

-"I can see that." I said with a giggle.

Things took an interesting turn. And it's the first time that I am happy that I got hurt or else nothing of this would have happened.

So lucky!
