CHAPTER 6

2 days later...

Final day of school. Finally! I'm so excited for summer to officially begin, I want to make loads of memories this summer with all the people I love.

My alarm rings for last time for about 3 months. I get out of bed, switch my alarm off and go open my blinds. Obviously, I make my bed and do my normal morning routine, shower, skin care, get dressed and have breakfast. I put on a cute outfit, blue jeans, white shirt tucked in and a black and white throw on, to pull the look together. I pulled my long, thick black hair into a high ponytail so it's out my face, and pulled a few small strands out to frame my face.

My grandma didn't make breakfast this morning since she was sleeping in. She has been helping her friend, Sarah, get through some tough times. Her brother had passed away and it had really affected Sarah so my grandma has been comforting her these past few days. Sarah has always been a family friend, Sarah was always there for me if my grandma wasn't able to be there after everything that happen with my mom. So, I understood why my grandma hasn't been around as much lately, and that is completely okay.

Talia sends me a message saying her and Luca will be outside in 10 minutes. I grab everything I need for the day, my bag, my phone and my water bottle. I leave a note for my grandma "Hey grandma, hope Sarah is feeling better, tell her I said that I'm very sorry for her loss. I won't be home till tomorrow as I'm staying at Talia's house for the night to catch up and just have a girls night. Hope you don't mind. Love you and I'll see you tomorrow!"

I heard a car beep outside and I knew they were here, I place the note on the kitchen counter and head out, making sure not to shut the door too loud since she is still sleeping. I get in the car and Talia turns around and starts talking to me. She's saying how excited she is for later on and she has something planned. Whenever Talia says she has something planned, it normally involves alcohol and socialising. Not what I was planning on doing tonight.

We arrive at school after a 15 minute car drive. As always Luca heads off in his own direction and meets his friends. Me and Talia make our way to our lockers and get the books we need for today.

"I love your outfit today babe" Talia says as her eyes scan over me. "Thanks, you don't look half bad yourself" I reply while smirking. Talia stares at me and tried to look scary but it just doesn't work. I can't help but laugh at her, eventually she starts laughing too. As we walk down the hallway, we pass many people and they're all having their own conversation. We only had one class today business.

Today was so pointless but we still went in.

We head to business and take our seats near the back. The professor informs us we are watching a movie in this period as he did not plan anything for this lesson. Everyone starts chattering and putting the stuff they got out back in their bags. The movie starts playing and no one is really paying attention. Most are on their phones or talking to one another, I don't think the professor cares and he doesn't say anything, if this was a normal lesson, he would be going bat shit crazy and shouting at us for not paying attention. But I assume since it's the last lesson he doesn't care.

Me and Talia start our own conversation. "So, what are we doing later on?" I ask her "You'll see" she says while laughing quietly. I already feel like she has planned to go out to a party or something. Thing is we're too young to go to the club since we're only 17, there are no parties happening, I know since if there were a party people would be talking none stop about it. So, I'm wondering what she has planned for us.

I scan my eyes over the room, and I lock eyes with Kai.

I turn to Talia "Since when was Kai in our business class?" "He has always been in our class but he never turns up, recently he has been turning up more" she says and I just nod my head. My phone vibrates and I look at who it is. It's my grandma "Hey hun, I know you're in a lesson but I read your note. I've told Sarah what you said and she really appreciates it. Have fun at Talia's and text me if you need me. See you tomorrow darling! Love you." I smile at my phone and Talia asks me who it is. I tell her it was my grandma just checking up on me, she nods and turns her head and starts watching the movie. I reply to my grandma and go back to watching the movie

While watching the movie, it felt like someone was staring at me. I look up and notice that Kai was looking at me again, but this time he turned his head away when I looked at him. Weird. I don't think much of it and continued watching the movie.

20 minutes later the movie ends and the professor says we can leave. Before I can say something to Talia, she is off. She ran down to the front of the class and announced something. I mouthed to her "what the hell are you doing?" with a confused look on my face, she just looked at me and smirked before shouting out...

"PARTY AT MY HOUSE, BRING YOUR FRIENDS, EVERYONE IS INVITED, BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE"

oh. my. god.

What is she thinking? I run down to her and pull her out the room. "Are you crazy?!" I asked her "No" "What the fuck was that then?" I asked her again "Nothing we're just having a party no big deal" she shrugged "No big deal? it is a fucking big deal, you just invited the whole fucking school to your house for a party?" "What's wrong with that? it's too celebrate the end on school and start of summer" she tried walking off "Fine you do that, I'm going home". "No, you're not, you're coming home with me and we are going to have the best night of our fucking lives". I was reluctant but I eventually gave in, she is my crazy best friend after all. "Okay fine. Sorry for freaking out" I apologized "It's okay babe, you just got to live a little sometimes, I promise this will be fun."

We walked towards Luca's car and got in.

"What the fuck was that, Talia? inviting the whole fucking school to our house for a party? a warning would of been fucking nice" he barked "Okay jeez I'm sorry, I just want to make the most of our summer and what's a better way to start it off other than having a huge fucking party with everyone, it's going to be fun trust me guys"
