The trip to New York was so fun. Unfortunately we didn't go clubbing again, but we done a lot of shopping and sightseeing. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday, a birthday in New York with all my favourite people, it couldn't be better.
We were on our way back from the airport. The driver dropped Talia off first at her house, then Sarah and then carried on to our house.
It felt good to be back, I missed my bed.
As soon as we got in, I gave my grandma a tight hug "thank you for making the birthday the best one ever" i gave her a peck on her cheek.
"You're welcome sweetheart, you deserved it"
"I had so much fun" I said while pulling away "I'll be in my room if you need to me"
I run up the stairs and enter my room. "Oh how I've missed you" I said as I fell down onto my bed.
It's 11pm, unpacking can waiting till tomorrow.
I get out of these clothes and put on a big shirt and some shorts and get back into bed.
Just as I was about to fall asleep my phone vibrated.
I've got a message from someone.
Kai.
What does he want?
"Hey just thought I should ask, when are we going to start on the project?"
Oh fuck. I completely forgot about it.
"We can start whenever you want to" I replied back quickly. I just want to sleep.
"Okay. Come to mine at 5pm tomorrow"
I felt my cheeks get hot. He just invited me to his house. Oh my god.
Kai just invited me to his house.
Okay calm down it's not that deep.
"Sure, just text me the address and I'll be there."
