It was the night before I start temporarily living at Kiba's house. Neji was helping me pack since he didn't have to go anywhere. I'm not the jealous type, but knowing Tenten was going to be with him and not me felt weird. It's going to feel weird not being around him as much, but it'll be okay. I hope.
I zipped up the last bag and sat it aside. I sighed and smiled at him. He smiled back. I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his shoulders, leaning against him. Neji wraps his arms around my waist and holds me as close as he can.
We stayed like that for a minute or two. Normally I would fall asleep in his arms, but tonight I wasn't able to do that. I had to be up early to go to Kiba's and he had to home for Tenten's arrival.
Neji didn't stay too much longer after I had finished packing. Close to an hour later, he left. He kissed me goodnight and wished me luck for tomorrow. I did the same. I got dressed for bed and then went to sleep.
