"Proof, a thing that can be required for many factors. But I do believe and suggest you guys that if the people you trusted doesn't believe in you, don't bother with them. You can find new people that believes you without asking proof for every small thing."
---------------------------------------Proof! I need proof against the villain in my life. I need to find it fast.
Damini was close with Seema; she was the person who knew about her plans. I need to confront Seema and find anything that might make others believe me.
My mobile, I want my mobile. I searched for my mobile; I didn't have it with me. I might have left it at home. Seema was not there in the hospital that means she must be at home.
Everyone was here at the hospital, so this is my opportunity to confront her and get something on Damini.
"Damini, by this time tomorrow you will be behind the bars. I will not let you cause any damage." I raised my hand to hail a taxi.
A car stopped in front of me, it was not a cab. I moved two steps forward thinking that the car was for others. The car followed me and stood in front of me again. I don't want to jump to conclusions, so I took two steps forward and the car followed the suit. I stopped and the car stopped in front of me. I have enough on my plate and I don't need any new troubles.
I walked towards the car and knocked on the driver's side window. The window slowly rolled down and a face I didn't expect came into my view.
"Need a lift little one," Daksh asked me. A small smile appeared on my face.
"Can you drop me home?" I smiled at him. I didn't even have a wallet with me but I hoped to pay for the cab once I reached home. Aj, being a life savior came on time.
"Hop in," once I was settled in the passenger seat and he drove to my house with soft music playing in the background.
I was thinking of a way to confront Seema. I think I need to confront her by offering money and if she doesn't agree then I will try to threaten her.
"Yes, this will work," I mutter to myself forgetting that there was a person beside me.
"What will work?" I turned around and saw Aj looking at me and glancing back at the road.
"Nothing," I replied immediately. I didn't want to burden him with my worries. If Damini is as dangerous as I consider then his life might be at stake. I don't want others to suffer on my note. Many people are already suffering because of me.
Daksh heaved a long sigh before opening his mouth. "Little one, even though we met only a few days back. I consider you as a close friend of mine. You can share all your worries with me and I will never judge you. I can help you as well. So, please tell me if you need anything!" We stopped near the traffic light. He turned towards me and begged me with his eyes.
I guess there was no loss in spilling all things to him. "My husband, Abhi is in hospital. He was in an accident and doctors are telling us that he might slip into a coma if he doesn't wake up by tomorrow," I took a deep breath trying not to cry. I looked at the side window trying to hide my tears from him.
He squeezed my hand, I looked in his direction and found him giving me a comforting smile. "I know that you love him more than anything, yesterday while we spoke you were staring at him for every second. I know a great romance when I see one. So, I know that you will fight with the gods in heaven and bring your husband back. He will be safe ok," he squeezed my hand one last time before starting the car as the light turned green.
"You know, I really needed to hear that words, and I didn't stare at him yesterday!" I tried to joke and lighten the mood.
"Oh, you did. Don't lie to me," he reprimanded me before going back to driving.
