"Sacrificing somethings in life for other's happiness is not a big thing."
-------------------------------------------------Burden and bad luck, I feel like I am bringing bad luck to every person in my life. I saw an example of what one-sided love can bring. I don't want to be the one suffering and cause others problems. I got only one solution for it, leaving them. I will start my journey without them; I know that I will be miserable without them. But for them to be safe and happy I must leave them.
"It is best for everyone if I leave this family, they suffered enough. I can't bring any more deaths into this family," I made my decision and no one will be able to convince me.
"Avni, you are old enough to take your own decisions," she stood and came towards me. "I have an advice for you, don't make decisions in haste, you may regret it later. Think about it thoroughly before deciding on it," she squeezed my hand and left me alone in that park alone with my thoughts.
I stood there alone with my thoughts, I knew that Anu was right her advice is always perfect. Now, I don't want to think further about my decision. I decided on what I am going to do next. I don't have any place in their lives they have already lost much because of me and my parents and I will be unable to see them suffer again.
"Ouch," A small body bumped into my legs bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked down and saw a set of blue eyes look back at me.
"Mama!" Diya exclaimed gleefully and hugged my legs tightly.
"Princess!" I pulled her up and took her in my embrace. I breathed in her scent. I missed her scent and it always provides me with comfort.
"Mwissed you mama. You didn't come in the mowning. I angwry at you," she pulled away from me and pouted in my direction. I looked behind her and found Raghav uncle standing there with a smile on his face, I gave him a smile of my own and returned towards my daughter.
"Are you angry at me?" I asked my daughter who was pouting at me.
"Yes, and dada too. He no see me, I angry at you two," she crossed her arms over her chest. I chuckled seeing her cute reaction.
"Aww, my baby is looking cute," I pinched her cheeks but she swatted my hand away with a huff.
This was new, she never did that to me. "I no cute, I angwry," she had a frown on her forehead. Even though I found her behavior cute, she should not be rude to elders. I took her with me and sat on the chair. I adjusted her in my lap.
"Uncle, sit here." I gestured towards the seat beside me. He removed the button on his blazer and sat beside me.
"I am sorry for not coming to you in the morning, princess. Mama had some work she will never do it. Okay," Diya nodded her head and started playing with my hand. She gently traced the bandages. "Your dada is hurt and he is taking sleep now, we will see him after some time, okay."
"Yes, mama." She replied distractedly. "Do it hurt?" She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I smiled seeing her reaction, her innocence and love towards me always amuse me.
"No, princess. It doesn't hurt," I replied and brushed her hair out of her face. "Princess, why did you push my hand away before?" I questioned her, as she tends to forget fast.
"I was angwry that you told me cute. I be serious," she explained to me. So, she wanted me to consider her words and not call her cute when she is angry. Damn, she is growing up. I don't want to miss these moments in her life.
"Who told you to do it, princess?" I asked her further.
"Grandpa." She mumbled distractedly.
"Rudra grandpa," she shook her head in negative and pointed beside me. I turned my head and found Raghav uncle shaking his head and trying to stop Diya from spilling his name. I glared in his direction before turning back to my daughter. I will deal with him later.
