Callisto's Spiral

Relay woke up, in Callisto's bedroom not remembering a thing after she left. He was wearing her Pierce the Veil hoodie.

He traversed through the sea of ponies to his office. He caught glimpses of what they were saying.

It was stuff like: "Where's Princess Callisto Delta?"
and "What happened to the princess of the stars?"

Luna was sitting in his chair.

"Luna?? Why are you in my chair." He asked.

Luna looked at her freshley manicured hooves.

"Transport issues." Luna replied.

"Transport issues? For what?" Relay asked

"I mean, you're saving Callisto with me and Phantom, correct?" She asked.

"Yeah sure, I'd love to have her back and be one of the first ponies they see." He replied.

"There's the problem. You don't have wings." She said.

"Can't you just carry me?" He asked.

"Actually, a week ago Callisto finished writing a temporary wing spell for unicorns and earth ponies." He replied to himself.

Relay remebered Polaris' wedding was today as Luna reminded him.

He went off to go get ready as he grabbed the spell off Callisto's desk and rushed to the train station.

As he had his own private car he tried doing the spell he had "stolen" off Callisto's desk.

Turns out it worked. Relay had arrived in Ponyville where he had run to the familar place known to most ponies as Sweet Apple Acres, but he knew it as a third home.

"I made it guys!" He had said, being the happiest he's been in twenty-four hours.

"RELAY!" Applejack said, running up to him.

They hugged. The ceremony had started, but as Sacred lifted her veil Polaris had screamed:

"I CAN'T FUCKING DO THIS WITHOUT CALLISTO!"

and he ran off.

Relay being the best man (Callisto was his original pick) ran after him to find him lighting up a cigarette while crying.

"Polaris, I didn't know you smoked..." Relay said.

"I didn't, until she left." Polaris replied.

"Callisto?" Relay asked.

"She didn't even tell me goodbye. I know she didn't have time but every time I see that image oh her getting pulled away from you, it's almost like a part of me died." Polaris said.

Relay hugged Polaris and began speaking again.

"Me, Luna and your uncle are getting her back. I know how much she means to you. I'll make sure nothing happened or happens to her. I promise.." Relay said, getting up to walk back inside.

Polaris soon followed behind Relay, not walking up to the alter, where Sacred was waiting for him, but instead to his mother, who was showing no emotion, was sitting next to Luna in the front row.

"You ruined my fucking life, Celestia." He said to Celestia.

Celestia's eyes began to water as she realized how badly she fucked up. The reason everyone hated her was because she screwed them all over.

Luna had gotten up.

"Fuck you, Celestia." Were the last words Luna said to her sister before slapping her as hard as she could and running to meet Phantom, their brother outside.

Relay had soon followed suite.

"Whats the plan?" Relay asked.

"Well as you already have temporary wings, we leave now." Phantom said.

As Phantom finished his sentence, Polaris bolted out of the barn doors into his aunts hooves.

"I can't be in a room with my mother anymore, take me with you." He asked.

They brought him with them.

They all had theories of why Polaris was so distraught by Callisto being gone. One of them is that because his necklace she made him is still broken, due to his dad breaking it, he can't see if Callisto is safe. The reason Callisto is still alive is Polaris and those necklaces. He used a spell Callisto had written to find her one night when Celestia let her go out. It was negative twenty degrees outside and she was found half dead outside Canterlot Library. That was the straw that broke the camels back.

As they were teaching Relay to fly, he got the hang of it and they soon left.

As they reached Appleloosa, Relay said something about his family being from there. Since Relays necklace was so new, they couldn't use it as a gps. They did have Phantoms that they used. As Relay was speaking he dropped out a sentence.

"I felt something when Callisto kissed me. It was the same thing I felt when Myth kissed me." He said.

Through tears, Luna had said. "Relay sweetheart, I think you're in love with my daughter."

"Dude, who's Myth?" Phantom asked.

"My dead husband." Relay replied.

"Yo, bro, my condolences." Phantom said.

"No it's fine, it happened over a year ago." Relay replied.

Polaris was still crying. Realizing the last words he said to his own mother were "you ruined my fucking life".

"We're here dudes." Phantom said.

"I really appreciate you doing this with us, Phantom." Luna said.

As they walked up to the castle gates they we're greeted by royal guards.

"State your-" The first one said, looking up at Polaris and Phantom before letting them in.

"I need to see your king." Luna had said to the pony she was assuming as his assistant.

"He can't be seen at the moment." The mare said.

Luna raised her wings and looked at the mare again.

"I need to see your king." Luna had said in a stern voice.

"Right this way your highness, ehe." The mare said, walking them to the throne room.

Callisto had seen them and started to run towards them. As she got up King Asaphreal blocked her.

Relay noticed bruises on Callisto's hooves and face.

"And you two must be the kings." Asaphreal said, shaking their hooves.

"Actually, this is Princess Luna, the Princess of the Moon and the God of Hatred." Phantom said.

"Mares can't be ethreal beings!" Asaphreal said.

This had set Relay off.

"Your "queen" is the the Princess and God of the Stars." Relay said.

Relay noticed Callisto's broken necklace as she walked up to Asaphreal.

Not only has he gotten a better look at her, noticing her once fluffy and flowy hair was lifeless and cut. He had realized those marks were indeed bruises.

Relay had jumped on the king. Pinned him to the ground and yelled "EVERYONE STAND THE FUCK BACK UNLESS YOU WANT SOMETHING BROKEN." Luna had grabbed her daughter before sprinting out of the throne room and then hearing a boom. Relay had finally revealed his true power.

King Asaphreal was pronounced dead as Relay ran to hug Callisto. He had finally realized he's been in love with her for 12 years. He kissed her and teleported them all back to Canterlot castle.

They came back to a Celestia who was being chased by Zippo with a flip flop.

Sacred ran to Polaris the second she saw him.

As Relay and Callisto we're walking back to Relay's room, he kissed her.

"I love you too Callisto." He said to her, finally returning the I love you.
