Chapter 46 Broken

Jay's P.O.V

Cole picked me up and proceeded to run. They were all talking to each other and kept looking at me in the process. I did not say anything, I did not even look at them. I just continued to stare at the ground.

Waste of time

I sighed and before I realized it, I started crying.

When I opened my eyes, I discovered that I was at the monestary and I was in my room.

When did I get here?

I sighed and lied back down on my bed.

Waste of time

Nobody is coming to save you

Worthless

You are a worthless ninja

Useless

You are useless, even with others help

Before I realized tears started to fall down my face. Not long afterwords I heard a knock on my door.

"Jay?"

I didn't respond

"Jay are you awake?"

I still said nothing

"Jay, I can hear you crying. Please don't ignore me."

I closed my eyes hoping by the time I opened them they would be gone. Sadly, that was not the case and instead the door was opened. I opened my eyes to see Nya standing there. She smiled at me.

"I'm glad to see your awake." She said

I just looked at her

She began walking over to me and sat on my bed.

"How are you feeling?" She asked

I looked away from her

"Jay, please talk to me." Said Nya

I still didn't respond, which only frustrated her.

"Fine! If you don't want to talk to me I'll just leave." Said Nya

She then got up and left.

I sighed as the door shut.

Waste of space

Your not worth their time

They didn't come for you because they care about you. They only came to defeat the snakes and found you there.

My door suddenly flew open, I saw Cole standing there.

"Jay, what's wrong. Why aren't you speaking to Nya?" Asked Cole

Yet again, I did not respond.

Cole shut the door behind him and made his way over to me. He sat beside me and put his hand on my shoulder, which caused me to look at him.

"Jay, buddy, what's wrong? You know you can talk to me." Said Cole

He doesn't care about you

No one does

I looked away trying not to cry

"Quit acting like you care." I said

"Jay what are you talking about, of course I care about you." Said Cole with a worried tone

"No, nobody does." I said in an emotionless tone

Suddenly I was enveloped into a hug.

"Jay, I don't know what they told you, but I promise you it's not true." Said Cole

I started to cry at this point

He pulled away from the hug and I looked down at my hands.

"Jay look at me." Said Cole

I refused to meet his gaze.

Suddenly, Cole grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

"Jay, we all care about you. I care about you. You are not alone, and I promise we will help you get through this." Said Cole

I sighed and pulled myself away from him.

"No one can help me." I said

"Nobody."
