Chapter 28 Giving up

Cole's P.o.v

"Kai I feel bad for leaving Zane we should go back." I Said

"Same let's go." Said Kai

On our way back we saw that guy from Zane's house. He looked at us then looked away, it looked like he was crying. He started to walk faster.

"Hey wait!" I Shouted

He stopped but didn't turn around.

"What?" He Asked

"Sir, are you okay?" I asked

"My names Julien." Said Julien

"Julien are you okay?" Asked Kai

"I'm fine." He said

"You don't look fine." I Said

"Look I need to go, just take care of Zane okay?" He said

He then ran off. We just looked at each other and continued to Zane's house. We walked down the stairs to see Zane holding his head.

"Zane what's wrong?" I asked

"I... I don't know." Said Zane

"My head... hurts." Said Zane

Zane then passed out.

I felt his forehead.

"He's burning up!" I Said

Kai felt his forehead to.

"He doesn't feel that hot." Said Kai

I looked around Zane's house to see if I can find something to takes his temperature with. It took me a while but I finally found something.

"104.5?!" I Shouted

I looked at Kai.

"He's burning up." I Said

I looked in his freezer to see if he had any ice packs luckily he did, and I put them on his forehead.

About an hour later Zane finally woke up.

"Zane are you feeling alright?" I asked

"Yeah, and since I'm feeling good I think we should finally talk." Said Zane

"Okay." I Said

Zane's p.o.v

"There's something go on, something that we don't know about." I Said

"Tell is something we don't know." Said Kai

"Lloyd's a ninja with powers, guys, don't you think it's a little weird that as soon as we become friends with jay and Lloyd becomes friends with him, he told his parents about us I know because he told me and then jay is suddenly moving schools. I think Jay's parents have something to do with this, there's more going on than we know and we needs answers." I Said

They just looked at me.

"I don't know about you guys but I've been having dreams about having powers and being a ninja myself, with Lloyd, and with you guys." I Said

"I've been having dreams to." Said Kai

"Me to." Said Cole 

"But they're just dreams right?" Asked Kai

"Maybe, but we need some answers." I said
