Keya's startled gaze stayed on the closed door before her. She blinked her eyes a few times while not believing that he was right across the closed door in front of her. But why? Why did he come to her after whatever happened? Was he going to take his anger out on her? He looked furious when she saw him the last time. His eyes held rage. His posture was different. He scared her. But, much to her surprise, she wasn't scared of him anymore.

She had seen his real self not once but two times in such a small span of time and that was pulling her curious self towards him. She wanted to know his reasons, she wanted to give him a chance to empty himself. But why was she thinking this much about him? He wasn't close, he wasn't even a friend or anyone who might have mattered to her.

Yet, she was thinking about him as if he was someone dear to her. His pain somehow felt personal to her and ignoring him was a thought that never came to her mind.

She sighed and shook her head at the thoughts clouding her mind. "Why am I thinking so much?" She whispered and moved her hand across her face unconsciously to wipe her tears but those were dried by now.

"Jaiden?" She whispered in disbelief again. There was silence on the other side this time. Did he go away already? She slid closer to the door to hear anything that she could but there was nothing.

Her eyes involuntarily moved to grab the handle. She gave it a thought and finally, twisted it. She opened the door a little and peeked through the small gap. He was still there while seating on the floor cross-legged. His head was hung low and his hands held it tightly.

"Jaiden," she called again. "Close the door," he said in a low voice. There were no emotions attached to it. The sentence was plain. Her face changed while just looking at him that way.

"Why... What is it?" She whispered further and heard a light chuckle. "Why do you keep bothering yourself? Others just leave when I ask them to," he said and looked at her with his tiring eyes.
