❝Do not judge. Everyone has their storms they need to pass by.❞

The sunbeam peeked from the gap of curtains and fell on her face. She still stayed the same. The clock was ticking rapidly yet there were no signs of her waking up to start the day. The mobile already fell asleep after making its failed attempts.

The moments passed as same and finally, she rubbed her eyes. A groan left her mouth and she blinked her eyes open. She held a hand before her eyes to stop the sunlight from falling on her face and sighed deeply. "Why do these curtains move on their own? Is this some haunted place?" She murmured and finally got up to a seat at her place.

Her eyes moved towards her mobile that started beaming suddenly. Another sigh left her mouth and she bent to her side slightly to grab her mobile from the side of the bed. Her mother's name flashed on the screen. The next few seconds passed in the stare game and she locked the mobile yet again. She fell on her back again after throwing the mobile sideways and kept staring at the ceiling. "What the fuck are you going to do, Samaira?" She murmured to herself.

She took her looks after her mother, everyone said. No one ever mentioned her father. She never saw him even in the pictures. All she got to hear about him was from the internet and gossip columns. He was from her crew, some said while others said he was a foreigner. Her mother never spoke about him and Samaira never asked questions as she didn't want to hurt the woman who looked after her single-handed. He didn't matter to her. The man who left her and her mother had no place in her life. she started hating that man from a young age and that made her lose her faith in relationships as well.

Reading about the news about her mother made her sad, it made her feel sick about the thinking of the society and thus she matured sooner than the rest. Her mother stayed away most of the time because of her busy shoot schedule. She was the most celebrated actress of her generation and thus expectations were high from her only daughter. Ever since childhood, Samaira remained in the spotlight and that attracted her to movies.
