The mobile lay in front of Jaiden as he kept watching in it with the possible worst expressions. Armaan narrowed his eyes while looking at his friend from beside. "Don't you feel bad for her?" he asked. Jaiden sighed and shrugged as he pushed the mobile away.
"For what?" he asked and looked at Armaan. Armaan chuckled while at the bar counter with Jaiden. "Dude, I thought you liked her," he said. Jaiden looked away.
"I never said I liked her. I said she is interesting," he murmured and took the glass to his lips as he sipped on the liquid. Armaan gritted his teeth and looked back at Jaiden. "So? Is it over now?'I wanted to see you. I feel better when she is around.' That's what you blabbered, right?" he asked again. Jaiden stayed quiet as he put the glass down and stared at the liquid in it.
"I should have warned her before. I am worried about her career now. She has no connections, nothing in her favor, and then this... This news," Armaan said again and looked at Jaiden who had a rather plain face. "Don't you seriously feel anything? I mean not romantically or in lustful ways but as a human... Don't you feel anything at all, Jai?" he asked further.
Jaiden sighed out of boredom and looked around the place. "Why aren't they playing music?" he asked in a low voice and searched for something. Armaan gave him a look of disbelief and shook his head. "I don't believe you," he said in a low voice.
"It was fine other times as you both knew what were you doing. Why did you involve her while knowing she is not like you, or like others? She is someone who is going to get involved with you, Jai," Armaan said again in frustration. Jaiden looked at him momentarily without giving away anything. "Why do you care so much for her?" he asked.
"Because she is in trouble and the reason is my best friend. I feel bad," Armaan said and looked away in annoyance. Jaiden sighed and adjusted in his seat. "I didn't do anything with her. I just showed her my place," he said again. Armaan looked back at him.
