Spencer's POV

Kissing her again confirms everything I already knew. I've never stopped loving her. Deep down I knew I never really had, but now there's path towards denying it. Sure, I've moved on in some ways, but Olivia.... she's everything to me. Even with her throwing things at me, slapping me, and being so angry with me right now.... the worst part of me doesn't care, she's here now. She's the true reason I haven't been able to move on with my life. I tried to live, love someone else, but nothing ever compared to what I feel for her. She fucking ruined me.

He sat in his truck outside of her house, letting his head fall back into the headrest. What could he do now? It was clear she didn't feel the same way about him, or was it? Olivia still hates him.

"Fuck!" He slammed his hand on the steering wheel.

"Damnit Spence!" He says to himself.

"Don't go there! Don't think of that woman like that again. Your chance is gone, you blew it" he said the words like he needed to remember them.

"I'm so fucking screwed"

"Yeah, you sure are" He jumps at the sound of his brother outside his window.

"How much did you hear?"

"Honestly? Pretty much all of it, you must really enjoy talking to yourself" Dillon opens the passenger side door climbing in.

"Next time, go with words of endearment, I hear that makes people smarter these days"

"By all means" He grumbles.

"And fuck off, you're the one who keeps making these situations happen"

"You kiddin me right? What the hell did you think was going to happen? It's why I told you that she was here weeks ago. It's why I keep telling you to make things right. Olivia has always been your worst regret" Spencer shakes his head, wishing his brother was wrong.

"I regret leavin her, not lovin her, they're not the same"

"Bruh" Dillon says as he ran his hand down his face.

"I told you years ago that you need to stop this. Pining away thinking one day she'd show and instantly love you again. You screwed up royally a long time ago, that chance is gone"

"I know D"

"Do you now?" Dillon paused, and Spencer wishes like hell he could punch his smug face.

"She was married with twins, were you aware of this?"

"Yep" He informs Dillon. "I saw him, well them"

"Saw who?" Dillon asked with a confused expression.

"Her son, Jayden"

That name. Of all fucking names she picks, and then for her not to remember, crushed me. She ripped my heart out of my chest and she doesn't even know it.

"They're good young men, been through it, but very resilient" Dillon said pointedly.

"Lost their father and everything they used to know, you can't be playing around with their ma's heart"

Dillon is normally pretty quiet and mute when it comes to other people's problems or business, but that wasn't the case when it came to Spencer and his. He loves Olivia. He always has, but he's also very protective of her. She's family to the James unit. Spencer wanted her to be an different family member for him.
