"You really thought you could stay hidden" Dillon asked, leaning against the post.

"That's the best part of living in a small town,"

Olivia was able to avoid him for the most part, only keeping things short and business related.

"Nobody's hiding D"

Dillon flashed a quick grin. "Your hiding way more than you're going to admit to me"

"That's the point, besides if I told you, that would just defeat the purpose"

It was five thirty in the wee hours of the morning and Olivia thought she'd be safe outside. Her dreams had gotten worse and worse since Spencer kissed her weeks ago. Now, Jadyn is accusing her of loving Spencer the whole time. Deep down she knew it was just her subconscious playing tricks on her, but she still woke up in a pool of sweat, every morning since. She even fights through trying to fall asleep. She thought they were better than the nightmares she's endured in the past. When she thinks about Jadyn, she grows severely sad. Every memory of him has been tainted by the façade he showed her. She thought about him waking up for work, getting dressed, then giving her a kiss goodbye fully aware that it had been a lie. Since then, she's asked herself, what else he's lied to her about. From there, sadness shifts back into pure anger. Very exhausting to go through.

"We all got something to hide, don't we?"

"Maybe, my question to you is, what do you have to hide?" She pressed walking forward. He studied her as if she'd already figured it out.

"This isn't about me, I know you Liv. Whatever you're holding onto, you gotta tell somebody, love, because it's killing you otherwise"

"You have....no idea what you're talking about" He laughed.

"You're angry. It's seeping from your pores, and it's what's keeping you from being fully present here"

She shook her head in annoyance. Why must he push her? Everyone else has allowed her to grieve on her own terms and in her own way, but not Dillon.

"You can't tell me how to handle this, and yes I'm angry, hell I'm mad as hell. Try finding someone in my situation who wouldn't be angry"

"Your not the first person to deal with grief and pain, there are many others before you and there will be some, behind you. You're not grieving Liv. Your just existing at this point" His voice was layered in sympathy even if his words didn't match.

"Those boys" Dillon points to the bedroom window.

"That's what living looks like. They're helping on the farm, laughing, getting to know their immediate family. That's living, but you?"

He paused as her chest ached knowing he was speaking nothing but facts. Dillon stood, face to face with her. His honey brown eyes were open and honest.

"Right now, you're just going through the motions" Dillon's hands brushed upward and downward to her arms.

"I don't know how to feel any other emotion besides that anger"

He nodded in understanding.

"The anger is normal and to be understood, even if you don't know the why behind the action"

"I just need it to stop"

"Come, take a walk with me" Dillon urges.

"There's a place, your gonna want to see"

Her choices were simple at this point, go back to bed and pay for this later or just deal with it now. That is of course, if Dillon lets her go anywhere. He was very good at getting his way. Truth be told, there's part of her that doesn't want to be alone.
