Prince George

Prince Augustus assisted me in walking after we took the cab. I fell asleep on the trip because I was so exhausted. The loud honking jolted me awake. "If you don't wake up, I'm gonna leave you here." Prince Augustus stated.

It astonished me when we got out of the cab when it wasn't the palace. This place and the palace are nearly identical, but the modest wooden cabin in the midst quickly distinguishes it from the palace. I honestly don't know where we are right now. I followed Prince Augustus into the only residence.

"Prince Augustus!" I called out, running into the Prince, who was hugging the older man. When I glanced closer, I realized that Prince Augustus was hugging Prince George, the brother of King Lucien's father, King Dominic.

"Your highness." I slowly bent my head to him.

"You didn't say you had company, Sebastian." Prince George stated. Do I hear right? Sebastian ... is that what he called Prince Augustus?

"Your highness, please accept my apologies for invading your domain. I'm Maria Gemma Mendoza, Prince Augustus' personal maid."

"Do not bow and refrain from becoming formal; I'm no longer the king nor a member of the royal family."

I wasn't even born when he was on the throne, yet I know everything that happened throughout King George's reign. He gave up the throne for the sake of a woman who made his heart beat fast, which made headlines throughout the world, and his demotion sparked a significant issue. However, once he relinquished the throne, the lady he loved was poised to marry someone else.

"I didn't realize Lucien provided you with a personal maid; well, that's a good thing so you wouldn't flee." Prince George chuckles a little.

"But sir, I'm no longer a child." Prince Augustus said.

"You must understand your father, Sebastian." Prince George said as he put his hand on Prince Augustus.

"I don't want to talk about him, sir; all I want to do is sleep. It's been a long time since I last visited here. " Prince Augustus looked around the empty field, where only the whistling of wind can be heard

I sat off on the side, watching them both, and just listening to their conversations. The Prince is thrilled as he speaks to Prince George. "Also, sir, are sponge and Bob still alive?" Prince Augustus asked.

"Yes, it's been a long time since they've seen you, and I'm sure they've forgotten about you."

"They won't forget about me, remember? I'm their true owner."

The two princes' bond is quite admirable. I'm puzzled about why Prince Augustus addresses his grandpa, the Prince, as sir, and Prince Augustus as Sebastian. Well, perhaps that's where they feel comfortable.

I didn't force the Prince to go cause I didn't want to spoil his enjoyment. He deserves space to ponder and fresh air. Because it was too late to travel, we spent the night in Prince George domain. There was only one bed, and it was perfectly sized for Prince Augustus, but Prince George insisted I sleep on the bed instead of Prince Augustus. Prince Augustus has no choice but to sleep on the floor with Prince George. The sound of fireflies and the surrounding stillness made it simpler for me to fall asleep. I slept so soundly that I didn't know Prince Augustus and Prince George were gone.

Looking out the window, I noticed Prince Augustus playing football in front of this house.

"You've already woken up." Prince George came in carrying food. "Take a seat and eat."

"Thank you." I seated myself in the chair. "Are we not inviting the prince to breakfast?"

"Let him take the field first." He replied.
