ok so we know deacon has 4 kids. so in this one his offers to babysit so Annie and deacon can go out on a date and she has to call in back up. which of course is street. Matthew Kay: MK Lila Kay: LK Samuel Kay: SK Victoria Josie Kay: VK

Chris pov
C: come on deec ill be fine you and Annie go and have fun when was the last time y'all left and had a night out that didn't involve kids.
A: deec they will be fine come on you know Chris can handle them
D: I know but all four at once you know how crazy they can get and Tori is teething and..
C: I promise I will call you if I need you now shoo get out I got this pizza is already on the way and were gonna watch a movie.
deacon finally give and follows Annie to the car and opens her door to let her in before walking around to the other side and driving off. I mean how hard can this be.
C: ok so what do you guys want to watch
LK: I want a princess movie
MK: no that's for girls I wanna watch a car movies
SK: no Mickey Mouse
the kids continue to argue and bicker for a little while longer.
C: what about a board game instead.
all of the kids: ok.
I go to the hall closet where I know the games are kept and pull out trouble. this should be easy enough. I set the game on the coffee table and ask Matthew and Lila to set the game up so that I can go check on tori. I walk into her room and she's fast asleep. I head back downstairs and they have the game set up fighting over who gets to be what color.
C: why don't you rock paper scissors and who ever wins gets to pick the color.
in the end Lila won and the boys were not happy about that. she wanted to be red and Matthew picked blue which left Samuel with green and I played yellow. we started the game and were about half way through when the door bell range and it was the pizza. at the same time tori started to cry and Matthew and Samuel started fighting. I ran to the door grabbed the pizza and payed the man. I then set that down on the table and separated the boys before heading upstairs to grab tori. once I came back down they had started fighting again.
C: everyone park you butt at the table please
they kids listen and moved to the table but tori was still fussy and would calm down. I fixed them a plate and a drink and headed to fix tori a bottle. as I was in the process of doing that Samuel spilled his cup.
SK: uh oh sorry auntie Chris
C: its ok baby, give me just a second ill Clean it up.
I finish tori bottle and grab some paper towel and with the help of Samuel we manage to clean up the mess. i don't know how Annie does this all the time. im already exhausted and I have only been at it for 45 mins. after dinner I am cleaning up while still holding tori when Lila comes to get me.
LK: umm auntie Chris Samuel fell and his knee is bleeding.
I stop what i'm doing to go and check on him. its just a little scrape and so I cover it with a band aid but now he's crying and won't stop which sets tori off. just them my phone rings its street.
s: hey how's it going
C: umm ok
S: you want me to swing by and help
C: if you don't mind
S: be there in 20
I hang up with Jim and sooth both Samuel and tori.
20 mins later

Chris pov
Jim finally arrives and the kids are super excited. I go to the freezer to get a teether out for tori as he entertains the kids. he chases them around the living room and turns them into air planes he even builds a fort with them until it's time to get ready for bed.
MK: auntie Chris can we sleep in the living room tonight and watch a movie on the big tv
C: under one condition no fighting over the movie we watch
all the kids jump with excitement and me and Jim follow them upstair to get ready for bed. they take baths and brush teeth and put on pjs. I change tori and give her a quick bath in the sink. once they are all ready we grab blankets and pillow and head downstairs. the kids spread out and around in the living room.
S: how about toy story
all the kids agree and we settle in for the night. Jim sits next to me it don't take long till the kids are out of it and i'm yawning. street grab a blanket and tosses it over us and I lean back into him and fall asleep.
deacon pov
me and Annie get home around 10. as we pull into the drive way Annie points out the fact that Jims bike is here. we walk inside and see all the kids downstairs and Jim and Chris curled up together. Matthew and Samuel are asleep on the love seat and Lila is curled up in a chair and Chris is lean back against street chest with tori layer on hers and his arms wrapped around them. they bot look exhausted. Annie walks over and takes tori from Chris and she stirs a little.
C: I don't know how you do it Annie
after that she rolls to her side and curls into street who pulls her closer. I fix the cover so its over the both of them and turn the tv off and we head upstairs to bed with tori
a: well they are the cutest things ever
I nod my head agreeing with her.
D: yeah I think the kids wore them out
A: yeah you try to do all 4 of them at once I just hope they behaved for her
D: well we will have to ask in the morning cause im not waking a sleeping Chris
Annie just laughs and hands me tori so she can get changed. I run my finger over her head and down her arm. her little hand grabs my finger and I smile at her. I love my family. both of them. my home family and my work family. I lay tori in the bassinet next to the bed and join Annie in bed. its not long till we both fall asleep.
