3 weeks. It's been 3 weeks since Chris has taken over the safe house and left us at swat. It's weird. Really weird to not have her watching my 6 at work. And this new girl is more of a lone wolf dosent fit in with the crowd type. I'm trying my hardest to make it work but it's so hard sometime. I look around the room. I'm moving stuff around to be able to make room for Chris. She's moving in with me and Luca this weekend. I turn when I hear a knock at the door. "Hey you ok" Luca ask. "Yeah I'm great" I tell him. "Ready for Chris to be here all the time" he ask. "More than ever" I tell him. He smiles. "The teams here when ever your ready" Luca says. I nod my head and look around my room again before I follow him out. The team and there spouses have gathered in the living room. I walk in and sit on the floor in front of chris. Her hands go to my head and start playing with the hair at the nape of my neck. "Is it me or will it ever seem real that's there together" tan ask pointing and me and chris. "Its real" chris says and continues what she's doing. I lean my head over on her leg and listen to everyone talk. It's not long till I fall asleep against her leg.

Chris pov
I look down and Jim is sleeping. I run my fingers through his hair a few times before I turn my attention back to the guys. "Y'all been working him too hard" I ask. "Not anymore than usual" deecan says. "He wanted to train the newbie. He took on that him self." Hondo says. "Speaking of where is she. Didn't she know it was team night" Luca ask. "I told her she didn't listen" street mumbled against my leg. "Come on. Bed" I say and stand up and offer him my hand. He stands and takes it and I tug him to his room. I pull the blankets back and he crawls into bed. "You staying" he ask. "Yes. I'll be in, in a bit" I tell him and kiss him. "Love you." He says. "Love you too" I tell him.

I walk back into the living room. "Who is this new person and why ain't they acting like a team" I ask. "Powell. She's not to keen on working as a team" tan says. "And how did she expect swat to work out" I ask. No on answers me. "I'll talk to her. He's not going to work his ass for and try for someone who isn't going to put the work it. He's not going to run himself into the ground for her and she not even try" I tell them. "Aww our little grinch has a heart" Luca says. I turn and glare at him. "This isn't funny. Idc if she's a swat officer and I'm not anymore I'll kick her ass" I say. "No need to kick anyone's ass. Me, Dec, and hicks are meeting with her Monday to set her straight or let her know if she can't follow rules she can leave" hondo says. I nod my head. "Ok well I'm going to lay down. But I'm serious I'll go to jail cause I'll kick her ass. Ain't no one treating him like that and I'll make sure of it" I tell them. Tan and Luca laugh. "Night love you" I hear Deccan say. "Night love you too dec" I tell him. I tell the rest of the team night and make my way back into Jim's room. I pull the blankets back and crawl into bed next to him. He turns to me wraps his arms around me and pulls me closes. I kiss the top of his head and he buries his head into my neck. I fall asleep quickly wrapped in his arms.
