Family dinner

I having dinner with my family tonight and street is coming with. It's been a while since he's been over for a family dinner. My uncle sanzo keeps asking about him. We just finished shift and are getting our bags from our lockers when I walk over to him.
C: you ready?
S: hell yeah your uncle sanzo makes the best food
He smiles real big at me and I can't help but return it. We grab our bags and head out to my jeep. He rode in with Luca so he's gonna ride with me. After we toss out bags into the back seat and climb into the jeep we head off to my uncles house.
S: you sure they don't mind me coming?
C: positive. Uncle sanzo keeps asking when he's gonna see you again.
He nods his head and looks out the window. We finally arrive at the house and I get out and walk up to the front door and wait on street.
C: come on
I grab his hand and drag him along. We make it out back where uncle sanzo is grilling.
Uncle s: on Chrissy and Jim you guys made it
C: would miss it for the world
S: thanks for having me
Uncle s: oh nonsense you are welcomed here any time Jim your family. Now sit food is almost ready I hope y'all are hungry
Me and Jim take a seat at the table next to each other. Uncle sanzo and my Tia bring the rest of the food out and we say grace and then eat. As we're eating we make small talk. Talking about there day and mine and Jim's work. My uncle sanzo stands and says he's going to get the dessert and Jim goes in to help.
Tia: so when are you gonna tell that boy you love him
C: what are you talking about Tia
Tia: you know what I'm talking about about. You and Jim y'all obviously love each other so when are you guys gonna tell us your together
C: it's not that simple Tia and you know that.
Right then the door opens and street and inn left sanzo walk out with desert. We all eat and head inside to watch a movie. Me and street sit on the l or seat that's made for two and my Tia tosses a blanket at me. I open it up and spread it over both of our laps. We start the movie. Half way through I start to dose off and my head falls over onto Jim's shoulder. I feel a are wrap around me and then I'm out. I'm woken up a while later to my Tia.
Tia: Chris mi amor it's getting let are you and Jim staying the night
I lean up from his chest and look around. It in fact has gotten dark. I'm still half asleep and lay my head back on Jim and mumble a stay. I fall back to sleep in no time. The next time I wake up is the next morning to coffee and bacon. I lean up off Jim as he is still asleep. As I move away his arms wrap back around me and he mumbles a stay. I smile and lean back into his arms know a few more mins of sleep won't hurt anyone.
