ok so I know at the end of this last episode I was disappointed we didn't get a strip date. they keep hinting that they will become a thing but then shut it down and its not addressed for a ew episodes. so I have decided to write a one shot where Chris gets out in time to meet Jim for that dinner date.
Chris pov
I just got back to hq to put my things away and I look at the clock on my phone 7:45. I wonder if Jim is still up for that dinner. I decide to shoot him a quick text to see if he is still game to go eat. even if we dont end up at Pauls chop house.

I smile at my phone shut my locker and head for my jeep. I climb in and head for the restaurant. it take me 20 minutes to get there. I pull in and park and see Jims bike. I get out and head in and spot him in a booth waiting for me. I walk over ad slid in across from him. "hey" I say with a smile. he smiles back at me and I feel a flutter in my belly. " hey so how was court" he ask as the waiter walks up. we order our drinks and food and he looks back at me. "um yeah it went as good as I could have expected it to. she did great and now we wait to see if the court says" I say and look down at my hands. I dont know what is going on with me I have had dinner with Jim multiple times before. and now all of a sudden im nervous. I mean its just dinner. "hey you ok" he ask and rest his hands ontop of mine that are on the table. I look up and meet his gaze I can see the worried expression on his face. so I smile at him and push the butterflies away. "yeah im all good" I say and take his hands in mine.
me and Jim spend the next hour and half in the booth talking, laughing, flirting, and eating. as we walk outside he follows me to my jeep. I unlock it and turn to face him "well this was som really good food we will defiantly have to come back." I say. "sounds like another date" he says with a smile. I nod my head. we stand there for another min before he straightens up. "well then I guess ill see you at work" he says " yeah see you at work" I say. he says good night and turns to leave. before he can get to far I grab his hand and pull hime back to me. he looks at me confused as he stands infront of me. I lean up and press a kiss to his lips. " night Jim" I say as I pull away from his lips and turn to climb into my jeep. before I can open the door he turn me back around and pushes me up against my jeep and kisses me again. he's lucky its him any one else would of done this to me would be laying flat on the pavement. I kiss him back and thread my fingers through his hair. "mmh meet me back at mine" I say between kisses. he pulls away from me and give me a big grin. "race ya" he says and head back to his bike. I laugh and climb into my jeep and head to my apartment.
