Swat one shots

this is a one shot where Chris falls asleep at streets and Lucas house and Luca caught them

Chris pov 

I open my eyes as they adjust to the light and realize that im not in my own bed and there is a warm body pressed against mine. I stretch and turn towards Jim to snuggle up to him when I see a figure standing at his door. its Luca. I jump up out of bed super quick and in the process fall. me falling wakes Jim up. "Chris you ok" he ask in his sleepy morning voice. "yeah Chris you ok" Luca ask. Jim turns in the bed and looks at him. "oh hey Luca I thought you weren't gonna be home till later today. didn't you and rose have plans?" Jim ask. " yeah we did but they really needed her at work so she went in and I came home to see if you wanted to go surfing and get breakfast. but I can see you are preoccupied" Luca says. "its not what it looks like" I start to say. "it looks like y'all are sneaking around behind our backs to be together" he says and walks away. 

I stand up and look at Jim. "do you think he's mad we didn't tell him" I ask. "its Luca he will be fine" Jim says and holds his hand out to me. I sit back next to him on the bed and he pulls me to him. "we should probably get up and get dresses" I say. "do we have too?" Jim ask. "yeah we do. you know I dont even remember falling asleep last night" I say. "me either" Jim says as we get out of bed and get dresses for the day. i put on one of his swat shirts and my jeans from last night and we head into the kitchen. Jim fixes us both some coffee and we sit at the island. Luca Is nowhere too be found. after a small breakfast and coffee we clean up the dishes and sit on the couch in the living room. 

its been about an hour since Luca left streets room and he walks back into the house with Charlie. he must have taken him for a run. the tv is playing but neither of us is really paying much attention to it. Luca gets Charlie a fresh bowel of water and walks back to the living room. "so how long has this been going on" Luca ask. "ummm we started to try and figure things out over the summer while I was in Germany. but we got together right before the funeral" I say and Jim nods his head. "the funeral was a couple months ago. so you two have been sneaking around our backs for a couple months." Luca ask. "yeah we wanted to figure it out before we brought anyone else into it" Jim says. "be honest, if I hadn't caught you two today when would you have told me or the team" Luca ask. "I dont know Luca. honestly we are still trying to figure everything out" I say. "I dont understand why your upset about this when its our business" Jim says. 

"because we're supposed to be a team and a family and family doesn't sneak around each others back and lie to them." Luca says. I look down at my lap. he's right we shouldn't of lied to the team but if they found put them hicks would and then we would be separated. "we didn't want to be put on separate teams. so we kept it a secret and didn't tell anyone so that hicks and HR wouldn't find out" street says. " you do realize you can get into more trouble by not disclosing your relationship than you would if you just filled out the HR paperwork" Luca says. "we took that chance" Jim responds. 

"are you gonna tell the other" I ask. Luca looks at me "of course not. its not my business to share. but I do think you should tell the team. they should been on the loop and then hondo and deacon can find a way to keep you two on the same team. but you can't continue to lie and sneak behind our backs its not a good dynamic for the team" Lucan says and walks away. we sit in silence as we listen to his door shut. "so we gonna tell the team?" Jim ask. I stay silent and just shrug my shoulders. he wraps an arm around me and pulls me to him. "what ever we decide to do its gonna be ok, and we will get through it. I love you so much Chris" he says and kisses the top of my head. I turn and look up at him " I love you too" I say and press a quick kiss to his lips before settling back into his side. we have only just gotten up but it already feels like its been a long day.
