Street pov

"Lapd swat I yell as we kick the door in and enter the house. It was supposed to be a simple bust. A simple busy that turned into my nightmare. Me and Chris rounded the corner and the suspect opened fired. Chris caught 2 bullets to her vest and one in her thigh. I shot the suspect. "Officer down I repeat officer down I need an ambo now" I say in my radio and get to Chris. Her breathing is labored. I pull her vest off her. "It's ok they don't go through" I say and apply pressure to the wound. "Your gonna be ok" I tell her as the team rounds the corner. "Where's the medics bag I need a tournquit" I tell them. "Here" Luca says and pulls it out and starts to put it on.  "Street" I hear. " it's ok it's going to be ok" I tell her. "Jim. I love you. I always have and I'm sorry it took me so long to tell you" Chris says. "I love you too but it's going to be ok" I tell her as we load her onto the stretcher and make our way out to the ambulance. They race Chris to the hospital and immediately into surgery. We're all standing in a waiting room for hours. Hours waiting on them to tell us she is out of surgery. "Family of Chris Alonso" a doctor says as he walks in. "Us" I say and walk to him. "Where is she" I ask,

"I'm sorry to say she didn't make it. There was a lot of damage to her artery and she lost a lot of blood. She coded 3 times on the table and we weren't able to bring her back the last time" he say. I can't breath. I drop to my knees and a sob breaks through. She can't be. No I can't lose her. I can't. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I stand up. "Where is she. I want to see her" I tell the doctor. "I'm not sure that's a good idea" he says. "I want to see her and I want to see her now"  tell him. He nods and lead the way.  Walk into the room and he pulls the sheet back. I collapse next to her. "Come back to me. You can leave me." I say as I lay over her. "Please come back to me" I say as I cry. I cry until I can't anymore. "Street" I hear hondo say. "No I can't leave her. She can't be alone."I tell him. "Jim she's gone. Come on" hondo says and pulls me away from her. I give in a follow him. I walk. I'm numb I'm not feeling anything as I walk out of the building. I hand hondo my gun and he looks at me. I turn and take off running. I need to get away as far as possible. I don't stop running until I hit the beach and then I collapse. I scream and cry for her. For my best friend the love of my life the best person to come into my life. I don't know how I am supposed to go on.
