This is the day after 5x9

Chris pov

I wake up and the first thing I realize is I'm not alone. I look up and see Jim sleeping. He looks so relaxed. I curl closer to his side and his arms wrap tighter around me. "Jim we have to get up we have work" I say and run my fingers over his arm. "Shh I'm sleeping" he says. I smile and sit up and look at him. He opens his eyes and says "hicks gave us the day off. The whole team we need a break. Now come back to me" he grabs my arm and pulls me back to him. I smile and curl up to him and he runs his hand up and down my back . "Chris" he says. "Mmmh" I respond. "What are we doing" he ask. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I know this was gonna come up. "We're gonna take things slow and not tell anyone right now till we figure it out and no pda at work" I say and look up at him. He smiles really big and leans down to kiss me. "What ever you want" he says.

We stay in bed for most of the day only getting up for food and to use the bathroom. I'm payed on his chest and we're watching a movie when his phone starts to ring. I lifted up off him and moved over next to him. He answered the phone.

Ft call from Luca
L: hey man I just got home and heard what happened. How is Chris?
I lean over to get into the core of the camera.
C: I'm good. How was ur trip.
L: hey Chris it was good. How are you? Street stay with you last night.
C: yeah man he stayed doc wanted 24 hour supervision. Was having trouble with my leg got a nasty bruise from it now.
As I say this I can feel Jim's hand under the cover squeeze mine.
L: well I'm glad your ok now though. You doing ok street. Our favorite girl isn't running you around is she.
S: Nah we're all good here. You know just looking after her even if she is reluctant about it.
L: yeah yeah I know "I don't need help I'm fine"
Luca mocks me
C: hey no picking on me in hurt
L: oh now you want to play the hurt card
C: yeah and if you keep it up I'm gonna kick your ass when I see you again
Luca laughs but surrenders
L: alright well I will let you go. Just wanted to check k on you if you need anything holler. Oh and street you coming home tonight or..
S: no I'm gonna stay here again and ride in with Chris tomorrow my bike is at HQ. Why you got a hot date or something
L: or something
Luca says with a laugh and hangs up. Jim puts his phone down and pulls me back to him. I lean up and kiss him. "Mmmh really wish I could do this all the time" he says and kisses me again. I smile into the kiss and lay my head back onto his chest. He pulls me close and we resume the movie that was playing.  I eventually feel asleep against him. I can't wait to see what our future holds but I'm nervous about work. I don't want us to be separated from the team.
