Long night

Luca pov

36 hours. That's how long we were on shift before we left. There was a bombing and it took us 36 hours to solve the case and catch the bomber. I'm so tired I can barley keep my eyes open. I somehow make it home and get inside. I take a quick shower and crawl into bed. I'm out like a light as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Dom pov
I awaken to fingers running up and down my back. "Mmmh" I groan out. "Did I wake you" rose ask. "No. What are you doing here and what time is it" I ask. "2 in the after noon. And I called you didn't answer so I came by to check on you and you were sleeping and looked so cute I couldn't help myself but to stay" she says. I smile and roll over pulling her to me. "I love waking up to you" I tell her. She smiles and lean in to kiss me. "So how was work" she ask when we finally pull away. "Long" I tell her. She runs her hands up and down my arms. "Wanna talk about it" she ask. I shake my head No and pull her in for another kiss. I love this woman with everything in me and I couldn't ask for a better person to be with. "So what do you want to do today" I ask her. "Anything you want you just got off a super long shift" she tells me. "Can we order some pizza and stay in" I ask. "Of course. I'll go order pizza and you go pick out something to watch. I'll meet you in the living room." She says and stands up. I watch her walk out of the room. Dame that's all mine.

I get up and put on a pair of sweats and walk into the living room and turn on the tv. Storage wars is on and I know that rose loves that show. I set the remote down and head to the kitchen when street and Chris walk in. "Hey I'm ordering pizza y'all want anything" rose ask them. "Yeah sure what ever y'all are eating" street says and she nods her head. She places the order and I wrap my arms around her waist. "Ok thank you" she says and hangs up. "Ok it should be here in 30." She says and I place kisses along her neck.

We grab drinks and make our way to the living room with me and rose on one couch and street and Chris on the other. "What have you guys been up to" I ask Street. "Just now getting up" he says with a laugh. "Yeah dom too. I swear you old people like your sleep" she says. I roll my eyes at her and kiss the side of her neck. "Old people huh" I say. She smiles at me and kisses me. "You try running after bombers all day for 36 hours." Street says. "Nah I'll leave the chasing people to you. I'll stick to my job" she says. "How is everything at the hospital" I ask. " it's been fine. Nothing new" she says. It's not long till the pizza arrives and I get up to get it and pay for it. I bring it back to the living room and we all dig in. We eat in a comfortable silence and watch tv.

This I could get used to. Having my 2 best friends and my girlfriend here with me. It's great getting to wake up to Rosie next to me but to get to splendid the day with her is even better. I love her more than I ever though I could and I can't believe she loves me too. Sometimes it feels like I'm dreaming and that I'm going to wake up and if not be real. I can't imagine life with out her now.
