day off part 2

Street pov

We have just finished up at the beach and I'm walking to the car with decan to get Chris's bags. We get to the back of his SUV, and he opens the door and looks at me. "You know if you hurt her, I will kill you" he says with a straight face. "Did you just threaten a cop" I ask jokingly. He is not amused by it and looks at me. "Yes sir" I say and take the bags from him. I walk over to luca's truck and throw them in the back. Once her bags are put away, we walk back over the team. I get there and tori jumps from Chris arms and onto my back. "ahhh"I scream and drop to the ground. She giggles. "Oh no tori your too strong for me "I say. "Good cause I'll have to beat you up if you break Aunt Chris heart" she says. "Yes, mama I understand" I say. She smiles and gets up off me and walks to her dad. We say our goodbyes and I grab Chris hand and we walk back to the truck behind luca.

We get in and get seated. "Ok so what do yall want for dinner" luca ask. "Oh, I don't care, Chris" I say. "How about Chinese and beer" she says. "I like how you think" luca says and starts the journey to get the food and head to the house. Once we got the food and are heading home, I feel Chris head dip down to my shoulder. I look down and she has fallen asleep. We sit in a comfortable silence until we reach the house. Once we get there I reach down and wake Chris up. "Chris we here" I say, and she lifts her head and rubs the sleep rom her eyes. I slide out of the truck and help her down. Luca grabs the food and beer and I grab Chris bags. She takes the keys from luca's hand and unlocks the door and opens it.

"I'm going to put your stuff in my room" I tell her and walk down the hall to my room and place her bags on my bed. I walk back out to luca and Chris in the living room setting the food out and turning on the tv. I take a seat next to Chris and we dig into the food and beer. "So how long" luca ask. I look at Chris and look back at luca "umm not too long. We decide to try and figure everything out but then yall left for Germany and then it was all a mess with the team when yall got back and then my mom" I trail off. "2 months" Chris says. He nods his head. "So are you mad at us for not telling you" She ask. "Nah I'm just glad you guys got your shit together." Luca says smiling. We finish dinner and our beer and I'm cleaning up. "I'm going to take a shower" Chris says and walks to the bathroom. "You ok to finish up. Rose just got off and I want to go see her and take Charlie for a walk" luca ask. "Yeah man I got it" I say. He smiles and harnesses Charlie up and heads out. Once I finish cleaning you and loading the dishwasher I head to my room. I put my phone on the charger and sit back on my bed.

Chris walks in 20 mins later wrapped in a towel holding her dirty clothes and sets them on the ground. She walks over to her bags that's still on my bed and get out some clothes to sleep in. she drops her towel and grabs her panties to put on and I groan. She laughs at me while she pulls her shirt over her head and climbs into bed next to me. I lay back in the bed and pull her to me. She curls up into my chest and I rub her back. "Mm night Jim" she says. "Night Chris" I pull her closer and kiss the top of her head. Her breathing evens out an di know that she asleep. I lay in bed awake a little longer. Right before I fall asleep luca sticks his head in " hey I'm back. Yall have a good night" he says. "Yeah, night to you too luca" I say and drift off to sleep with the love of my life curled up into my side.
