Chris and I load up into her jeep to head home after visiting with Nichelle, Hondo, and the baby. we're almost home im waiting at a red light when Chris says "I want a baby". "huh" I respond and look at her real quick before pulling through the intersection after the light turns green. "I want a baby," she says again. I pull into the driveway and put the car in park and look at her. "you want a baby" I ask. She nods her head.
"do you want a baby because you want one or because Hondo and Nichelle just had one and she's super cute," I ask? She just shrugs her shoulder. "Chris if you're serious we can have a baby but if not and it's just a baby fever," I ask. She opens the door and gets out, and heads into the house. "Chris," I say and walk after her. "never mind street it doesn't matter," she says and walks into the house. "why are you upset it was just a question," I tell her. "I'm not mad," she says. " then what's wrong? what did I do wrong" I ask. "do you not want to have a family with me," she asks.
" oh baby of course I do. you just caught me by surprise. Chris you know I didn't have a good childhood and I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm actually terrified that if I have kids ill end up just being just like my dad" I say. She turns to me. "Jim I know you're scared but so am I and I want to have a family with you. I don't know what I'm doing either but I know that we can figure it out and have the whole team help if we need it. I want to have a family before I can't anymore" she tells me.
"then let's do it let's have a baby," I tell her. "yeah ?" she asks with a smile. "yeah plus it's gonna take more than once to get you pregnant and well I'm down for anything that gets you naked in bed," I say. She laughs and I pick her up and take her to our room.
