We make it to the wearhouse he said to meet him at about 5 mins early. I pull up and we exit the vehicle. We walk in and tony is there waiting. "Ahh welcome guys" he says. "Thank you for meeting with us. She haven't stopped talking about it since I told her about the meeting" I say. Tony chuckles and leads us to the art. "I see you brought a bag with you. May I ask what's in it" tony ask. "Oh just some cash. Let's call it a good faith deposit in case she finds something she really like I can put a deposit down on it and get you the rest" I say. We look around at the art and there a are a few Chris point out that she "likes". I put the deposit down and we're supposed to exit the building and get into the car and swat is gonna swarm and take them down. At least that's the plan. What we didn't expect if for someone to recognize Chris. "Hey I know you" he says. "Umm yeah she models" I say and pull Chris to me and walk towards the exit. " nah that's not it. Bruh she's a cop she arrested my brother" he says. Tony turns and looks at us "you must of mistake me for someone else I don't know what your talking about" she say and we walk over to some bog Woden crates. "No she a cop man and I bet her boyfriend is too" he says. "Is that true" tony ask. "Nah man I don't know what he's taking about" I say trying to play it off. "Look" he turns his phone to tony and it's the article Chris spoke in and why she became a cop. "Your a cop" tony screams and I push Chris behind the crate right before he opens fire. I press the panic button on the key from the car and take cover. Me and Chris both fire back. "Cover me I'm gonna mover over there" she says. I cover her and she moves to a different crate. "Tony drop your weapons now we have the place surrounded" I yell at him. I look to my right and Chris is no longer behind the crate. I can't see her. I duck and cover agin and pray she's ok. "Nah man I'm gonna kill toy for lying to me" tony Yells back. "Lapd swat" I hear hondo yell and they start to take them down one by one. "Street man you good" I hear Luca ask. "Yeah I'm good thanks" I say. "Where's Chris" deacon ask. "I don't know I lost sight of her she was supposed to move to that crate and then she disappeared" I say and show then where she was supposed to go. "Alright I want this place locked down no one in or out until we find her" hondo says and everyone starts looking. We continue to search when I hear "20 David roll an ambo we have a officer down I repeat office down north side of the building" hondo says. I take off to where he is and find Chris with a billet wound to her shoulder. "Chris, Chris talk to me" I say. "Hey jimmy" she says and smiles at me. I smile back and look at hondo. "It's a through and through she should be fine but I want her taken to the hospital." He says as the paramedics arrive on scene and put her on a stretcher "I'm fine guys really" she says and protest about being take to the hospital. I follow them out. "Is anyone riding with" the paramedic ask. "Me" I say and climb into the back of the ambo.  We head to the hospital and they patch Chris up. They are gonna keep her overnight for observations because of the blood loss but other than that she's will be fine. "Sit with me" she says and pays the spot of the bed next to her. I carefully climb onto the bed with her and wrap my arm around her. She lays her head on my chest and falls asleep. She's still sleeping when the team shows up including commander hicks. They stayed back to finish the cases."what up my people" Luca says loudly. I try to shush him so we don't wake Chris when I look up and make eye contact with commander hicks. "Sir it's not what it looks like" I say and try to explain our position. "Just fill out the HR forms and I don't care as long as it stays professional at work" he says. "Thank you sir" I hear Chris say. I look down at her. "When did you wake up" I ask. "When Lucas loud mouth entered the room" she says. I smile and kiss the top of her head. They team stays for a little bit before they leave so we can get one rest. I fall asleep in the bed with Chris wrapped in my arms.
