I'm at the community center this morning preparing for some of the kids. We're going to have a bbq this weekend med I wanted the kids to make signs to hang up around the neighborhood. I go to stand firm my chair and I'm a little dizzy. I balance myself and walk out to everyone else/ "hey are you ok" Mary one of my workers ask. " yeah I'm fine just a little light headed" I tell her and continue to walk until my world goes black and I collapse.

At the hospital.

I wake up at the hospital hooked to a heart monitor and have an iv in. I turn to the door as the doctor walks in. "Wonderful your awake. How are you feeling" he ask. "I'm ok. My head hurts a little. What happened why am I here" I ask. "Well it looks like you passed out at work and one of your coworkers called 911. They brought you here and we ran some test." He says. "Ok. So why did I pass out"I ask . "most likely from dehydration. You and the baby are gonna need more water. So let's make sure we're drinking plenty" he says. "Did you say baby" I ask. "yeah. Congratulations your pregnant" I start to cry. "I'm sorry. Is this not the news you wanted to hear" he ask. "no it's not that. Me and my boyfriend have been trying to have a baby and we have had a hard time conceiving. It's great news just took me by surprise that's all" I say. The doctor smiles at me. "well then. Let's get an ultrasound done and we can set that little baby of of yours" he says.

He gets the ultrasound machine out and shows me the baby. He prints me a few pictures out and let's me know that I'm 12 weeks pregnant and that a nurse will be in to discharge me. Once I'm dressed and ready to leave I call a Uber to take me back to the community center so I can get my car and go tell Hondo. I make a quick stop at the store to buy a cake and have them write congratulations your going to be a daddy on it. I make my way to hq to see him.

I arrive at hq and an officer escorts me into the building. I walk in and Hondo is in the boxing ring with tan. I see them them turn and look at me. "Nichelle you ok" he ask as he climbs out of the ring. "yeah I just have a surprise and I couldn't wait till you got home" I say and hand him the cake. he takes it from me and opens the box and reads it. He freezes. "are you serious" he ask. I nod my head. He sets the cake down and picks me up and kisses me. "congratulations your going to be a daddy"I hear tan read out. A round of cheers are heard from the team. "when did you find out" I hear Hondo ask. I proceed to tell him about my day and everything that happened and hand him the ultrasound pictures. "I'm only 12 weeks and it's still early so anything can happen but we gonna have a baby" I say. He smiles at me and kisses me again. "we're gonna be parents. This is crazy. We're having a baby" he says. I smile back at him. "Our team is just getting bigger" Luca says. I lean into his side and watch the team. I know out little baby has the best people to watch out for it and love it no matter what.
