I woke up the next morning with Blake's bare arm around me. As I scooted out of bed trying not to wake him I picked up my phone on the nightstand. I had a text message from an unknown number. I unlocked my phone as I set on the edge of the bed admiring a sleeping Blake. He had such a baby face when he slept. His lips pursed and his face looked so round. As I went to my messages I saw that the text said, Hey, it's Jordan :). I then looked at the time seeing that it was not even 8am. Why the hell was this boy texting me this early. I decided to wake up early and go run some errands and go over to my house. I was practically living at Blake's, sleeping over almost every night and only returning home to get more clothes. I know my mother wasn't happy about it. Claiming that a couple should only live together if they are "serious," even though she failed to understand that we were serious. I got up and went into the closet and threw on Nike running shorts and one of Blake's old OU shirts that I'd accumulated and put my hair up in a ponytail. After going back into the bedroom I saw Chaney had migrated to Blake's bed and curled up at the end while Blake still did not move an inch. I grabbed a little piece of scrap paper and wrote Blake a note.
Good morning!
I didn't want to wake you...you're so cute sleeping. Going to the run some errands, get stuff for tonight, and stop by my place. Call me if you need anything. See you later.
xoxo

I grabbed my purse, keys, and my bag of dirty clothes and headed home. The drive there was nice since it was early. When I got home I had grabbed my mail and started a pot of coffee after I threw some clothes in the washing machine. Sitting on the kitchen counter i decided to return Jordan's text.
A little early huh? But hello :) He then responded immediately.
Well they say the early bird gets the worm. Just wanted to make sure you were still on for Saturday?
Yeah! So long as nothing comes up I'm definitely up for it.

Ok, well we're meeting at Blue Ribbon at 7pm on Saturday night. Come hungry!

Sounds like a plan. Enjoy the rest of your day! I said locking my phone and going to pour myself a cup of coffee. I then sat down and wrote a list of things I needed to get from the grocery store for dinner on Wednesday. I invited Amber and DJ over to my house to have dinner with Blake and I Wednesday night. I went over to the coffee pot to pour myself another cup when my phone rang. It was my mom. Great. I was having a great morning.
"Hello," I said sighing.
"Sophie. I figured you'd still be asleep. But I'm glad you're not. What are you doing tonight?" She asked.
"Nothing as far as I know," I said before taking a sip of my coffee.
"Is Blake busy? I want both of you to come to dinner with your father and I?" She said as I nearly choked on my coffee.
"You what? You want us and in both Blake and I to go to dinner with you?"
"And your father," she added.
"Right. Ok. I'll give him a call in a bit and then I'll let you know," I said skeptically. What's with her change of heart all of a sudden. Did someone die?
"Ok, well we were thinking of going to Nobu. I know that's your favorite. Does Blake like Japanese?" She asked.
"Yeah, he likes it...is um Grandma ok?" I asked changing the subject very quickly.
"Yes, she's fine. Your father went to go see her the other day for lunch. Why?"
"I just was thinking about her you know," I lie.
"Hmm, ok. Well let me go, I'm having some new furniture for the media room delivered now but call me later Soph."
"Ok, will do," I say hanging up the phone.

After folding my second load of laundry on the couch with the Today show on I heard the doorbell ring. I wasn't expecting anyone? Was I? I got up and looked through the peep hole to see that it was a baby faced Blake standing there with a bag and a bouquet of yellow tulips wrapped in brown paper. I opened the door to see him leaned up against the door frame taking off his sunglasses and hanging them in the v of his shirt.
"You found me," I said smiling.
"You aren't hard to find," he replies stepping inside.
"Are these for me?" I ask shutting the door and taking the flowers out of his hands.
"Yes, I saw these on the way to pick up breakfast and I thought you needed some," he said setting the bag down on the counter and pulling out two containers.
"And you brought food?" I say as I widened my eyes at him.
"I did. I got soufflés from Lillie's," he said handing me a warm take out container.
"Thank you baby," I said giving him a quick peck.
"Of course. Are you going to the game tomorrow tonight?" He asked taking a bite of his food.
"Yeah, the girls and I are meeting before for drinks and then I'll be there. And Wednesday night Amber and DJ are coming over remember," I said sitting down next to Blake at the table.
"Coming over here or to my place?"
"Here. My house. Remember I'm gonna cook dinner?" I said trying to spark him memory.
"Ok, that sounds good. Maybe I'll just come over here then after the game cause I don't play again until Friday night."
"Ok, yeah that sounds good. Oh and tonight. You aren't busy are you?" I asked him.
"No, why?"
"My mom wants us to go out to dinner with her and my dad," I said biting the corner of my lip.
"She wants me to go?" He asked confused.
"Yeah, I know. I thought my grandmother does or something but she sounded too nice on the phone today. Maybe my dad said something to her, I don't really know. But will you please go?" I pleaded.
"Of course I'll go Soph. Where are we going?"
"Nobu at 7:00. So after I get ready I can drive you over to your place so you can change and stuff and then I'll bring you back home."
"Ok," he said to me.
