MMP: Mana Manipulation Potential, or someone's aptitude of magic. Basically, this number dictates how much magical potential one has, which controls how many types of magic they can master and how complex their spells can be. Any mortal being has a MMP = 1-100, and any long-lived or older being has an MMP > 100. To actually be able to use magic naturally—without the need for an enhancer—one's MMP must be higher than 50.
Mortal: A being with a lifespan of ≈ 100 years, and will enter an afterlife when they die. They die of old age, and can be killed by 'mortal' means.
Eternal: A being that requires extenuating circumstances—might need a very specific weapon, or only a higher being can kill them, etc—to die. When they die—in the extreme circumstance that they do—their soul can be reborn, reincarnate, or be summoned wholly, and they can come back to the living world.
Victa: A world that was conquered by eternals 10,000 years ago, or nearly 2,000 years after the split. Mostly inhabited by mortals with an MMP < 50.
Magora: A world that the eternals fled 10,000 years ago, after an unknown event.
Undecided: a child who's MMP can fluctuate, and won't have their MMP officially registered until they get their adult magic, at 17.
Blissfest: A monthly testing of an undecided's MMP, which happens in towns far away from the capital. In anytown that holds a Blissfest, if a child has an MMP > 50, they are immediately sent to the capital for training.
Reaper: the personal guard of Queen Laverna, who are willing to lay down their lives to protect her. The elite guard is ruthless and efficient, and there are many rumors that claim the elite guard is composed of brainwashed traitors and rebels.
