I blink and I'm back in the tunnels with Kyler. He's stopped and is looking back at me inquisitively, trying to figure out what just happened.
"Lily, are you okay?" He asks, caressing my face.
I shake my head, "I'm not sure, but I'll know once I talk to Sil."
He nods, grabs my hand, and turns around, pulling me forward.
After the end of my vision, everything feels different; crooked almost, like the world has been tilted. I'm a little dizzy and am grateful that Kyler is pulling me. I start recognizing the tunnels we're traversing and smile when I see a wooden door. I smile and remember what happened last time I saw Sil, glancing down at my palm.
Kyler knocks on the door and it opens, Leta on the other side.
"Why are you two here? How are you here?" She seems confused, even though I think it would be obvious.
Sil walks behind her and smiles when she sees me, "They're here to see me, Nora."
Leta blushes at the name Nora, "I told you to call me Leta."
I gasp. Leta...Nora. Leta Nora. Letanora. Nooo... she can't be. Why would the leader of the rebellion be sisters with our oppressors? I look at Sil and she nods.
"Lily, come in here. Kyler, could you give a report to Leta? I want to speak with Lily alone."
Leta blinks and Kyler nods, whispering to me, "Be careful. She never meets with anyone alone, except Leta."
I smile. I trust Sil.
She stares at me with her whirlpool eyes and I stare back.
"What's wrong Lily?"
I avert my eyes and fiddle with my hands, "Don't you already know? You're the one who wanted to speak with me."
Silvaria smiles, "I could tell you had something on your tongue."
I stutter, "Well, I used magic. At first, it was just creating a little fire, and not getting burned. Kyler said that was abnormal when I told him. But then, in one of my visions, which I have multiple times a day, I performed real magic. I shot magic out of my resistance mark, at my friend, Brenden. The crazy thing is that I actually attacked him in real life. I was there, and I used magic, and I have no idea."
She looks confused for a minute, putting pieces together.
"That's nearly impossible, or at least that's what I would normally say. But, you've been chosen by The Keeper. I suppose you could do tons of impossible things, just because of it."
I look at her, "My visions too. I think they're getting worse. The Keeper gave me this necklace, " I motioned, "and said that it would show me visions in my sleep. But I see them way more than that; two to three times a day. And they're scary, some of the future, past, and present."
Sil nods.
"I have a question."
"What, my dear?"
"Is Leta related to the sisters? And is Laverna's real name Lavender?"
She blinks. "What? What a ridiculous notion. Though, I guess if you don't believe me you could always ask Nora herself."
I fiddle with my hands. Sil lied, I know it. Or maybe she just doesn't know the truth. Letanora, Lunasila, and Lavender. I know. I feel it.
Sil grabs my shoulders, "I have an idea!"
She looks so excited, and she stands up, pulling me with her, "We'll train you! First, we'll start with psychic magic, to see if we can control, or at least subdue those visions. Then we could work on fire, since you have an affinity for it. We could try all the kinds to see if you're good at anything else. You could be a real proper mage, just like the other chosen ones of The Keeper."
