"You know I can't..." The whine in your voice made you groan internally at how pathetic you sounded. You were on the hero course, nothing had scared you before! But now you were an Omega, things were all so different...

"Yes you can. Seriously, you just smell like a strange perfume. I wouldn't have guessed by scent alone. Just keep your head up high and you won't give anything away." Mina grinned, giving you a thumbs up before standing and motioning Ochako to drag you to your feet.

"Are you sure? It's not obvious I'm wearing blockers though, right?"

Minas face twisted a little as she thought and you sighed.

"It's obvious?"

"Well... You could pretend you're just covering an Alpha scent? Everyone expected you to be an Alpha from your quirk alone so..."

An Alpha? Pretend to be an Alpha?!

"That's a bad idea." You simply replied, looking down at your fluffy socks wrapped around your feet.

Since you had become an Omega you had discovered that you got cold ridiculously fast. Yet another reason to hate your status and a dumb need to buy as much warm clothing as possible, even though it was still warm weather outside...

You heard Mina huff and your eyes lifted to her face that was pouted and deep in thought.

"Well... You can't hide here forever. The more you leave yourself hungry, the more your pheromones are going to overpower those blockers. You'll end up with every Alpha in a ten mile radius wanting to bring food to this room. Bite the bullet and don't answer any questions you don't want to, okay? You have an Alpha and an Ochako on your side!"

Minas words slowly sunk in and you heaved a sigh before laughing at Ochakos determined 'buisness' face

"You're right... Okay, let's go before I change my mind."

It was the usual chaos in dorm 3A as everyone spoke about their summer break.

Some boasted about their Alpha status to other bored looking students who were either Alphas or betas themselves and didn't care at all while the rest helped with food preparation and table setting.

It was a nice chaos, the kind that felt like family, wether you loved them or not.

"So Baku-bro, what did you get up to over the break? More internships?" Kirishima asked as he flopped into the sofa seat beside the bored ash blonde who had been ejected from kitchen duties due to his unhelpfulness.

He glanced over to his spiky red haired friend for a moment before shrugging.

"Yeah."

"Ooh, with Endeavours Agency again?" Kiri grinned, urging the usual limitless energy from the suddenly quiet Katsuki.

When he simply nodded, Kiri knew for sure that something was wrong.

And it was true. Over the summer, Katsuki had developed his Alpha status and been proud of it. He had gloated and swaggered and been his usual 'I'm the best' self.

But over the last few days, something strange had knocked him and he couldn't put his finger on what.

He was more irritable than usual, much more tired and way more antisocial than usual too...

He didn't even want to yell at anyone.

No, all Katsuki wanted to do was go on long isolated walks or train. And it bugged him.
