"Miss (L/N)... What an unexpected pleasure! Please, take a seat-"

Reynard paused as she looked down, seeing the dopey looking golden wolf at your side who panted up at her.

You followed her eyes and chuckled, ruffling the top of his head.

"Don't mind him, he was just making sure I got here okay..."

Reynards piercing blue eyes flicked up to you as her head tilted in interest.

"Why would he need to do that? Is something wrong?"

Your slight grimace as you recalled the events in your head told her everything she needed to know.

"I see. Come sit. We'll have tea, hmm? It's been a while since your last visit, I'm dying to catch up." She placed a hand on your upper arm, urging you inside and you could have sworn you heard a soft growl from Monoma.

But before you could say anything or even look at the golden good boy, the door closed and Reynard guided you to a chair, swiftly moving to her desk to pour some tea.

"I want to hear..." She began, placing the cup in front of you before sitting in her chair, legs crossed and fingers folded together in her lap.

"...everything"

~~~
Monoma was lost for words as he stared at the closed door. Not that that was hard, he was an animal currently and they never seemed to speak all that much...
He contemplated staying and listening, but quickly found he couldn't hear a thing. Not a whisper, not the sound of furniture moving, nothing.
Something about Reynard raised his hackles and he couldn't put his paw on it...
But no matter how hard he listened, he determined the door was sound proof and huffed, standing to walk back to the dorms, deciding to let this wolf quirk time out on its own.
It felt good to be like this, his Alpha was definitely enjoying the feralness of this state. His senses were even more heightened and his body felt so comfortable like this.
He'd have to find more reasons to come into contact with you more often to feel this way again.
He could hear the blonde Alpha storming down the hall and smirked, wondering if he would put the pieces together or smell you on him... Oh how that would be wonderfully entertaining!
He knew it was harmless.
He didn't think of you that way, not the way Bakugo obviously felt.
No.
He had his eyes on an Alpha of his own. Kendo.
After that pink girl and rocky man from Class A had gotten together, he realised it wasn't just him that felt a connection with another Alpha... It was perfectly normal.
Well it wasn't, but he wasn't alone in feeling that way. They seemed happy. Maybe he and Kendo could be happy too?
Your scent troubled him though.
Of course he could smell you and knew his body was telling him to be near you, protect you. But not mate you.
It was as if he could be close, but not intimate. As if some external force was keeping him at bay... He'd heard rumours that the rocky red Alpha felt the same way about the little omega and wondered what was wrong with them both...
Maybe it was all for the best.
He felt bad for you. Really, he did.
But that was all new to him. He hadn't felt the need to be sweet and warm until he saw you so vunrable and raw right in front of him.
