"Wait, why am I only hearing about this now?" Ochako perked, her tiny brows coming together.

You looked down at your half eaten sandwich and chewed the inside of your cheek, feeling guilty for keeping it to yourself.

"Well... I didn't know if I was just feeling weird for no reason. I had no proof anything was maybe happening until today."

Your heard her make a small noise of agitation before her hand wrapped softly around your wrist across the table, making you look up at her.

"So many new things have happened to you lately that haven't been particularly safe. You should trust me and Mina to take something like this seriously, even if it's just a funny feeling."

Your were taken aback by the small tears in the corners of her eyes and it was painfully obvious she was hurt that you hid something from her.

"Ochako..." Her hand squeezed your wrist a little before she let go to wipe her eyes.

"I know it's difficult to trust anyone as an Omega, but I've always been there through everything right? Even if you worry about Mina, you can trust me, right?"

You felt yourself shrink back as you nodded.

"Of course I know."

Shinso was relaxed in his seat, quietly observing as he sipped on his coffee to let the girls have a moment.
He hadn't quite expected the rollercoaster that the Omega in front of him had been through over the last few weeks, listening silently as you explained the strange feelings of being watched along with the occasional mention to how out of control you were feeling at times.

He had seen you around the school, blushing and surrounded by the same few Alphas who seemed to protect you from the other classes but hadn't thought that maybe that attention was also unwanted.

You never seemed angry, but then again you never seemed happy.

He had been absent from any joint classes due to extra work studies so he hadn't been in your line of sight much over the years, but from what he had seen of you in glimpses, this was not who you were.

He hadn't quite imagined you'd be like this- scared and unsure yet stubborn and strong.

It intrigued him.

"I do trust you, Ochako. I just... There's some things I have to go through on my own. It didn't seem to be life threatening, only a passing sensation. If I was worried about it I would have told you, I promise."

"Even so..." She sighed and you looked down at your food guiltily.

With a clear of his throat, Shinso decided it was time to join in.

"If I may?"

You both looked up to the purple haired boy as he set his coffee cup down and laced his fingers on the table, leaning forward to enter the conversation.

"A feeling of being watched is often a dismissed confession. Besides adding to the paranoia by acknowledging it herself and having people on edge around her, what good would have come from (y/n) saying anything until she was sure?"

Your mouth opened slightly in shock as he smiled lazily at you while Ochako grumbled softly.

"I guess..."

"I'm sure that she didn't want any extra attention either. I've got a feeling she's been a little suffocated."

Ochako immediately sat back, feeling like the guilty one now.

You quickly shook your head as you realised she thought he meant her. You offered a smile, reaching for her hand.

"Not you. Those dumb blondes maybe, but not you and not Mina."
