The room was dark.

But more than that, you couldn't smell anything that would help you recognize where you were. There was no familiar scents, infact, no scents at all.

At the bare minimum, you knew this wasn't your room because the feel of the mattress beneath you was alien, wrong.

You tried to sit up, but a wave of pain slammed across your body, errupting from your core and a pitiful sound was ripped from your throat.

"No no no..." You whimpered, curling in on yourself to cradle the scolding hot embers that burned your insides. You'd felt this before.

A heat. A bad one.

But you weren't due for at least two weeks right?

Taking a deep breath, you sat up slowly, the gnawing ache in your lower belly making it hard to focus...

But you needed to get up and figure out where you were dammit...

Eventually you made it to your feet, hands outstretched in the darkness, hoping to find a light switch.

Instead, you found what felt like a door handle.

So of course, you twisted it and blinked as harsh light poured into the room from what seemed to be a small hallway.

Very small.

In fact, it was more of a square room with three doors, not including your own.

One was purple, one was white and one was red.

"What...?" You muttered, gritting your teeth and clinging onto the doorframe you had stepped through for dear life as another wave crashed through you.

The flush creeping up your spine between waves of pain was more than enough to let you know it would only get worse before it got better. You needed to find help.

Staggering forward, you could feel a warmth from the purple door... Not artificial, but real warmth. Like sunlight caressing the bare skin of your arms and legs.

It wasn't until you reached the door that you realised you were in nothing but an oversized white shirt and you immediately hesitated.

What was beyond this door? It felt like daylight, so maybe it was the way out? Did you want to escape from here in nothing but a thin white top and face that embarrassment for freedom?

You shook your head, gripping the handle of the purple door tighter.

Of course it was worth it.

Carefully, you twisted the handle and stepped inside.

Or rather, outside.

The purple door led into an open garden, flowers of every kind littered the ground in troughs and pots.

Several stone pathways were lined with small bushes and trees, almost making a maze that spiraled through the space.

Through a series of bushes, you could see the path led to a wide but low fountain where a figure was relaxing.

Friend or foe? ... You'd have to find out for yourself.

You held your breath to suppress the wave of pain that rippled through your lower belly, threatening to tear your hips apart from the cramping...

Fuck heats. Seriously.

But still you managed one step after the other, following the curve of the path towards the fountain, hoping the person there would be able to tell you where the hell you were...

"Uh, hello?" You called out, holding down the ends of your shirt to cover more than just the tops of your thighs and the figures head lifted.

Lavander eyes searched for you, finally finding yours and an easy, lazy smile appeared on their face. Their familiar face.
